I'm stating the fact you keep saying that I'm scum, despite my earlier claim, which everyone else has told you to leave alone. Why do you keep pushing it?

I understand why you guys are suspicious of Alexis, but i would say in the past two games I’ve played where he’s been town he has had similar tunnel vision on specific players throughout the game, and always gives crazy takes specifically around claimed players. I think he’s just misguided town at the moment
If you iso him and read through our brief interaction where he gives his explanations for voting me, I don’t like it at all. And he kind of just doubled down on me for weak reasons that he himself admits aren’t making him have a very strong scum lean on me but still thinks I’m the best person to vote so far?
Also completely ignoring Fuji’s prompts to claim so far. I at least want to see him respond regardless of if he claims or not, and unless you’d rather I get lynched we need more votes on him

Townies use plenty of bad logic, perhaps more than scum. There are plenty of illogical townies out there, but at least they're sincere in their naivete. Players who use poor or zero logic are nearly as likely to be town as scum. I see this as suggesting that Hayumi's posts, which you find unsettling, could stem from sincere townie logic that simply appears flawed or suspicious under scrutiny.
And to be honest I’m not really interested bc I’m town and any explanation given just won’t be strong in my eyes, given I’ve literally done nothing scummyz
The real problem with justification is that people make stuff up all the time in Mafia. People who are better at justifying their actions do better against people looking for a strictly "logical" case, whether or not that person is scum. In my estimation, the current metagame reveals that Town are more likely as opposed to scum to make minor mistakes in justification. Hayumi struggling to justify their stance or posts about Sparkles, leading to what you perceive as suspicious posts, may fit this pattern of townies having difficulty articulating their reasoning under pressure (rather than indicating scum intent).
And I’ve literally given you a GTH town lean so how am I trying to make you look any type of way off of your no explanation vote irregardless. I didn’t ask you before you asked me cuz I once again, have bigger concerns such as the person I heavily town lean with DOUBLE VOTINF POWER wanting to lynch me. Like wtf did you want me to say in that moment. “oh, why did you vote me?”
Like no lol, I literally knew you were just doing a pressure vote anyways which is exactly what you admitted in your following post so make it make sense. Literally just saying exactly what I said
Yah I’m trying to call Sparkles wolf without calling Sparkles wolf despite having them as town core off rip, and still trying to convince them otherwise. You sound ridiculous, genuinely what is this take? You’re repeating yourself from earlier
Gad did end up giving me reasons tho, and looked even worse off of it in my eyes, I mean no disrespect but pls tell me you aren’t just going to do selective reading this round
Your reaction, feeling that the posts are unsettling, aligns with Behavioral Scumhunting (BSHing). You can be reading casually and spot perceived insincerity. You then use logic to back it up. Once you've got a gut feeling about someone, you should be able to go back in the thread and build a case on it. Gut can be [unwittingly] founded in logic, and logic can be [unwittingly] founded on gut. Your gut feeling that something is off is prompting a logical examination, but this gut feeling itself can arise even when observing a fellow townie like Hayumi, whose communication style or logic clashes with your own.
It's a bit tough to understand why you'd mention and call oit Gad for not giving a reason for voting for you but you gave hime a town read doing the same.
You just keep making these weirdly shady posts about someone you have in your town core (which also generous read). It's a bit jarring for me and I do want to figure out why.
Furthermore, townies are more sincere than scum because their goals are different. However, players sometimes post when hurried, tired, or otherwise not fully focused. Consequently, during the course of a game thread, it is not unusual for players to make statements that might contain phrasing that appears inconsistent or lacks typical clarity. This can happen to townies under pressure, like Hayumi appears to be, just as easily as it can happen to scum, explaining why interactions can seem unsettling even between town players.
Bout to make me crash tf out. The funny thing is yall are the same 2 who were on my ass in the WG game for literally no reason. I know you have a small sample but damn good to know neither of you can read me for shit
Therefore, I see this interaction as stemming from common town dynamics: one player (Hayumi) potentially making logical justification errors typical of townies under pressure, and another player (you) reacting with a gut feeling (BSHing) that something is behaviorally off, leading to a logical challenge (LSHing or logical scumhunting)—a classic pattern I see as common in town-vs-town conflicts.
He also still thinks I'm scum despite me revealing I'm vanilla town which I had no obligation of doing since I wasn't even being suspected I think he's trying to take attention away from people who actually come off as scummy
Him taking Fushi off his scum list just because Sharter might be scum and might get lynch is also suspicious
Even if that does happen I wouldn't consider that a town lock imo
He made posts after Fuji had already asked and tagged him and got completely disregarded. At least I’m actually acknowledging it and telling you no thanks lmao
You're putting a lot of stock in my refusal to doing something when I wasn't even on to refuse/accept any proposal. And you think my reasons were bad lol
You parked a vote on me way before that post anyways, so I don't really think you are being that genuine in terms of sus on me tho but mk I'll explain.
Again, this is what Hayumi said. Literally, her defense was that I made a post explaining why I'm voting her after I voted her so it can't be genuine, no mention of the actual reasons I provided or the fact that those reasons came from her play from before the vote, not some random "I feel she bad" bullshit.
So I listed Cat, Sparkles, Alexis as my early town core reads. I listed you, Fuji, and X as slight town leans but very close to null and even said all those listed would be subject to change.
In the exact post you're referring to I still very clearly said at that point none of you had made particularly scummy posts in terms of tone, but none of you did anything that screamed townie either.
Completely avoided the point here. My point wasn't about who was in the reads list, but about how it was weird that she gave a town lean and then immediately walked back on it with a "There's probably 1 scum here".
From the town leans, not her null to scum list. Made the read list look like a halfassed attempt that even she didn't put much stock in.
Yeah, you're overplaying this. The problem is you mentioned that everyone else was null to scum. You're trying to put the spotlight on the maaaaybe when you actively ignored that you hinted at people actually being in your scum list. Yeah, no.
