re: Hayumi
Hayumi clearly cared about being understood and got frustrated when misread, but consistently recalibrates based on new info (e.g., reevaluating Brad after a believable claim). Role-claim defense: Her protective roleclaim (3-shot Roleblocker) is central to her defense, and she used it to explain her vote shifts and reads. She's called out the logic of her choices and challenged others to look at the bigger picture. Constantly referenced who is voting who, when, and why. Strong awareness of wagons, EoD momentum, and others' meta. Basically did a great job of deep wolfing. So now we delve into possible connections to partners based off of interactions and voting patterns.
Pepe Boi: Her biggest scumread. Consistently calling out lack of solving, weird sheeping behavior, and a sharp contrast with his previous town meta. There is no way in my estimation that this was a bus job, especially to the extent that it happened.
Aurelian: Initially pushed them but softened at times, suggesting some doubt and openness to reevaluation. Now this can be more of a wolfy subtle bus here as it fits a world to shade a partner (like she did with me in cross forum mafia) without actually wanting to push it through. In saying that though, I do vibe Aurelian as town given his play is in stark contrast to recent wolf games.
Lapp: Consistent suspicion due to behavior, meta differences, and interactions. As per Aurelian, could be a subtle wolf bus without genuinely believing in the solve.
Fuji – Consistently townread. Even when Fuji dueled Brad (who Hayumi later calls town), they frame Fuji’s intention as non-hostile.
Jay - Hayumi and Jay show mutual avoidance, with minimal direct interaction or voting pressure on each other throughout the game. Hayumi pushes back against W/W accusations using surface-level distancing logic, but without genuinely solving or committing to a read on Jay. Their treatment of each other is cautiously neutral, which feels unnatural compared to how Hayumi engages with other players. Overall, there’s moderate scum equity between them.
Miraka - Initially suspected due to OMGUS behaviour, wagon resistance, and not solving. Later reevaluated after Miraka posted big walls, (the term she used was “Bible posts,”) analysing the game — she felt that was too effortful for scum. Then drops the scumread, showing willingness to adapt based on progression and tone. Possible collaboration and performative.
Fuji - Always townread. Even when Fuji dueled Brad (her eventual town read), Hayumi didn’t shade him — said intention wasn't malicious. Points out that Fuji asked her to claim to break the tunnel, reinforcing town motivation on both ends. Suggested Fuji wouldn't push her mislynch. Very forgiving of his play and buddying up to each other.
Alexis - Less central, but Alexis gets pulled in when others suggest he and Hayumi are W/W. Hayumi pushed back: “If we were both wolves, why are you pushing me?” Logical defense, not much emotional tie. Suggests to me implicit distancing, but not strongly developed for it to be concrete. Red herring on gut cos I don't see a wolf Alexis putting in so much effort, even if their reads/POE have failed to evolve at any point throughout these phases.
Stick - Hayumi and Stick show inconsistent read trajectories—Hayumi initially scumreads Stick but waffles multiple times, citing discomfort with the vote shift yet never fully committing to solving or defending them. She flips between voting Stick and calling other slots worse without much progression. Their interactions lack genuine push or pressure, suggesting a performative distance. Gut vibe though is Stick is town, so the deep wolf element works here
Atsumori - Hayumi and Atsumori show low wolf parity based on interaction and treatment. Hayumi rarely acknowledges Atsumori directly, and there's minimal mutual engagement or agenda coordination between the two. Atsumori doesn’t appear in her major POE lists, nor does Hayumi push or defend him meaningfully.
Grammaton - Hayumi and Grammaton appear to have low-tier team parity. While Hayumi mentions Gram in a secondary POE early on, she doesn’t consistently push or prioritise him, and there’s minimal direct interaction between them across phases. This distance could suggest deliberate distancing or simply low relevance to each other’s agendas. However, the lack of strong coordination or defense makes me lean to them not being aligned.
Lethal
Fujishiro hime
Atsumori
Alexis2282AE
Spongebobek Luka
PepeBoi
Grammaton GoddessBlade
Lappland
Stick
jay23
Mlraka
Aurelian
So my solve is basically Lappland/Jay/MIraka with FujiHime being a variable. With the night kills we must entertain the existence of a SK, which complicates my final solve.
I don't trust Lethal at all so I did my own ISO of Hayumi's posts to look for spew or anti-spew
'I have the opposite thought tbh, I think it’s uncommon for scum to claim so early but definitely NAI overall'
'Can you elaborate? You don’t buy their explanation that they thought Villager just = Town?' - defends Stick in response to my early sus and vote
'Way too early town leans so far Gad Stick Lethal' - could Hayumi have put a mafia in here to try and make them look better?
'Hmm ok gotcha, not sure what about me catching up pings you but I’m just poking questions at things that stick out to me. I personally like to try to find town reads first and then start my solve from there rather then give a whole list a few hours into d1 but we still have at least 5 or more players that haven’t even posted yet so let’s give it some time.' - random ping on Jay23
'Lethal: aggressive, quick to fluctuate and push in other directions. Think so far he’s got the same vibe as our last townie game together.' - This kind of fake meta analysis on Lethal actually makes me more even sus on Lethal now
'Lmaooo you haven’t given me a reason to have animosity yet' - on Jay. These interactions seem a bit odd, as much as I hate to admit it, Lethal may have a point there
'Yah it’s true the claim in itself is still NAI, I just got more so of a gut feel in the way they came across but I’ve been wrong before on scum for similar reasons not that long ago lololol so let me take a step back. I do think the other reasons are still valid, like how they responded to getting sussed almost in a joking way and then later came back to clarify if the sus was a joke or not. Just reads kind of townie to me I don’t know how to really put words to it.' - I'm still not sure who this is in reference to? With the whole 'trap' thing?
'What are your thoughts on BradLand and Miraka so far?
Miraka had a mixed bag of posts for me. Some of them looked townie, some looked kind of suspect.'
'this reaction to getting some early pressure isn’t great imo. I feel like I would react kind of similarly as scum getting caught out, but also could just be AtE as town.
BradLand seems to have some sort of meta knowledge on Miraka implying they could have shown a scum tell but hasn’t really pushed there himself so makes me wonder'
Yeah I'm including Hayumi's reactions to me too cause I'm not afraid of the heat unlike Lethal
I want it to be known that I pushed on Hayumi plenty yesterday
I pointed out the stuff they did that was scummy and why
None of their arguments against me made any sense
The buddying they did with Aurelian when Aurelian made up BS reasons (and is still doing that now, btw) was disgusting
That means Lethal's clearly putting stuff out of their a** in the read on me because I kept putting pressure on Hayumi and saying they were at least a scum lean for me. And I didn't back down on that
The reason I voted Aurelian on Day 1 is because they were a bigger FoS for me and I stand by that being a good call with the information we had at the time. Plus I didn't realize it was a majority lynch not plurality at the time so I had hope that Alexis and some others might see the light after my last post and see what I'm seeing with Aurelian
And for RDK, we all know how scummy Cataclysm was and RDK was even worse
So I'm not apologizing for that at all
'Everyone say hello to Alexis, this game just got much less boring

' - likely NAI for Alexis
'What would you say if I said I could see a world where you and Brad actually have scum equity. He was sort of fence sitting by suggesting he has scum tell knowledge on you but not doing anything with it. And now you return the favor by sussing him but aren’t interested in really applying' - another example of BS that Hayumi spewed about me that I called them out on
'Oh so you were serious about Nibel, noted lol' - rather shallow response to Aurelian's unexplained FoS on Atsumori and me. That's a bit of a negative for Aurelian
'Are either of you familiar with what scum Alexis even plays likes? so far my last 4 games with him he’s been playing very similarly and town every time.' - shares meta on Alexis. I'm paying less attention to these cause Alexis is my strongest townread so far and the current votes on them are complete BS
'I was looking at an angle that Miraka and Brad could both be scum bc neither have really pushed one another too much despite both of them putting each other as sus but Stick kind of convinced me otherwise that they wouldn’t approach each other that way if both scum' - some grade A bullshit and I wasn't the only one to call them out on this
'Lol wut?? Im agreeing with Aurelian’s point bc it’s true. Maybe not all, but two of Miraka’s susses so far (him and Brad) both sussed him first. Also I townlean Stick the only other person I remember you sussing, so I’m not tracking - the blatant buddying with Aurelian and agreeing on an argument that doesn't even make any sense. I already wrote about this before
'Unvote Brad doubling down and Stick's thoughts around their and Miraka's slot makes me want to look at another direction'
'Miraka and Brad but less on Brad more on Miraka right now. Luka Cata Pepeboi also want to dive into these slots I think' - this was Hayumi just pulling stuff out of their ass
Like there's no logical progression at all
Frankly I'm thinking there's probably a mafia in Luka and PepeBoi based on this, more likely to be PepeBoi if you ask me, even though Luka pisses me off more
'Brad for sort of fence sitting on Miraka and not really pushing despite claiming to have reason to sus them. Now that Miraka is voting him he pulled an OMGUS back and kind of doubled down with his vote but he still hasn’t actually given a well thought out reason why..?' - I gave very clear reasons for Brad being mafia and a LOT of people agreed with me too
This post is getting too long, let me break it into parts
