    Name: "Tables" Woman
Sketch of Origin: "Driver's Ed" (S02E06)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

Your job is tables. Simple as that. The tables are how you keep your house hot. The tables are your corn. You drive them to comic-cons and horror conventions, and you get very distressed when they get dirty. This makes for an odd driver's ed video.

2x Bus Driver - During Night, you may target 2 players. Any action that would affect one of your targets instead affects the other.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

It is now Night 5. Send in your actions. (I reserve the right to end Night early if all actions have been sent)

Night 5 Ends, Day 6 Begins

  • Night 5 has now ended.

    Nibel has died.

    roleimage.png

    Name: The Turbo Team
Sketch of Origin: "Has This Ever Happened To You?" (S01E01)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

You're a duo of turbo termite exterminators, but you have a prankster side, that sees you run around the house and install a joke toilet in place of your client's regular toilet that's just for farts.

Double Voter - Your vote counts for 2, not just 1.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

It is now Day 6. With 6 players alive, it's 4 players needed to decide a lynch. You have 24 hours.

    roleimage.png

    Name: Brian
Sketch of Origin: "Brian's Hat" (S02E03)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

Your attendance at an insider trading trial for your coworkers has been marred by the way the conversations turn away from their illegal activities and towards your hat. You don't get it. The guy said you're the only one who could pull off a fedora with safari flaps.

Vanilla - You do not have an active role.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

Night 6 has begun. Send in your actions. I am willing to end night early, but check the Night 4 timer if you want the vague idea of time you have left.

Night 6 Ends, Day 7 Begins
  • Night 6 has now ended.

    Flower has died.

    roleimage.png

    Name: Ghost Tour Guy
Sketch of Origin: "Ghost Tour" (S02E01)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

They said it was the adult tour. You were allowed to swear. So why did they complain when you asked if the ghosts blasted out the walls and had huge messy shits? You're just so confused. It's interesting... the ghosts.

3x Action Cop - During Night, you may target a player. You will be informed if your target can perform an action at Night. If your target only has passive abilities or Day actions, this will not count. If your target can only perform a factional kill, this will not count. If your target had a Night action previously, but has used all shots of the action, this will count.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

It is now Day 7. With 4 players left alive, it's 3 players to decide a lynch. You have 24 hours.

    roleimage.png

Name: "Don't Talk About Your Kids" Guy
Sketch of Origin: "Talk About My Kids" (S03E05)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

You're willing to do anything to make your friends stop talking about their kids. Like, ride a dog. Pretend a dog is fellating you. Anything that'll protect them from being seen as the boring person who won't stop talking about their offspring.

2x Doctor - During Night, you may target a player. If your target would be killed that Night, they are not.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

There is now no hope for the remaining townies, Retro and Aurelian...

    roleimage.png

    Name: Howie
Sketch of Origin: "Game Night" (S01E03)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

The boyfriend of someone or other introduced via a Game Night, you proceed to ruin charades by naming influential-but-obscure jazz musicians. Come on, though... who hasn't heard of Roy Donk or Tiny "Boop Squig" Shorterly?

1x Party Host - During any one Day, you may indicate to the host that you wish to activate a party that Night. On the Night the party is active, the following effects apply.
    - Night posting is allowed for that Night only.
    - At the end of the Night, the exact number of players who performed an action that Night will be publicly revealed.

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

    roleimage.png

    Name: The Driving Crooner
Sketch of Origin: "Designated Driver" (S03E01)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

You're a designated driver with a side-line in looking vaguely like a crooner thanks to the decals on your driver's seat window. However, it just gets you mad when they try to make it look fake!

3x Distractor - During Night, you may target a player. If that target performs an action that Night, they will instead perform that action against you. (If your target chose not to use an action that Night, they will still not.)

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

As well as the long-lost CraigPelton...

    roleimage.png

Name: Guy Who Used To Be a Piece of Shit
Sketch of Origin: "Baby Cries" (S02E02)
    Alignment: Good Guys Aligned

The baby's crying because you used to be a piece of shit. With the Dangerous Nights crew... slicked back hair... sloppy steaks at Truffonis... living for New Year's Eve. You're not a piece of shit anymore, though. People can change.

Fruit Vendor - During Night, you may target a player. You will visit them just to tell them that you used to be a piece of shit, but you're not anymore. (They will not know who you are.)

Your aim is to eliminate any threats to your alignment.

Which can only mean that the last scum standing was Gadministraitor!

    roleimage.png

    Name: Skeletrex
Sketch of Origin: "Christmas Carol" (S01E04)
    Piece of Shit Aligned

You and your Bone Brigade have taken over the future. The sole fighter against your dominance, the Ghost of Christmas Way Future, has gone back to the past through a Christmas Portal to find his only hope... but surely he cannot defeat the all-powerful Skeletrex!

1x Janitor - If performing your factional kill and not applying any other ability, you may apply this ability. The killed player's role will be revealed to your team, but not the thread.
1x Strongman - If performing your factional kill and not applying any other ability, you may apply this ability. The kill will break through any protection on the killed player.
1x Ninja - If performing your factional kill and not applying any other ability, you may apply this ability. You will not be detected performing the kill.

Your aim is to ensure that nothing can eliminate your alignment.

Piece of Shit Aligned have won!

    Final Thoughts and Awards
  • Reflections on a Mafia Game Completed

Well, that was a game and a half, wasn't it? For the amount it struggled to fill, and for the 24 hour Day phases (I was just going with what worked on WF, and it didn't work here), the game went by at a fair pace. 6k posts, that's more than any since Darkest Dungeon, the game I came back for.

I described this game as a comedy of errors early on, and that is what it felt like. Scum were easily rolling over and getting booted, despite town's best efforts to bicker and argue, but then during the Nights town reversed it with an amazing number of actions that screwed each other over. A potted list To wit: all three of Flower's action cop shots were messed with in some way: the first two being on vig targets and the third being distracted by Aurelian, and Ultra's second cop shot was also on a player doomed to die. The majority of other Night actions failed to achieve anything useful.

This was the first game I made with a Lyncher instead of a traditional third party. It's just a shame that it got killed before it could be active. The odd night/even night dichotomy was the last remnant of a type of role that was removed at the draft stage.

This game also means I'm going to have to rethink how I build setups in the future. I saw a lot of people trying to setup spec on the basis that "Surely Sky wouldn't include this role that can only interact with 1 or 2 roles"... actually, I would. I normally try to fit the roles around the lore, rather than the other way around, which leads to some interesting combinations of roles. If you like the unpredictability that causes, feel free to say... otherwise, expect my games to be more conventional from now on.

I have to once again thank @Grammaton for checking through the setup for Ranked for me. Some things that changed between my initial draft I sent to him and the final version:
    - The Cop and Doctor were initially unlimited.
    - As you'll see in the OP, Metalloid Maniac was a character, and his role was 1x BP. I cut it for size reasons and gave the BP shot to scum (which ultimately did not matter).
    - The Distractor role was a very late addition. Originally, Town had Chunky (odd night Roleblocker, even night Disabler) and Jamie Taco's role was a 1x Rolesteal. When it was pointed out scum had no reliable disruption options, I moved roleblocking abilities to scum and came up with something as soon as I could.
    - Party Host's secondary effect originally mass-Voyeured the night, revealing what actions were performed, but not who did them or whom their targets were.

I feel the game was better for these changes, though I'm sad that the wilder Party Host effect was nixed.

    And finally, the awards.
    MVP
    @Gadministraitor
Of course, he basically solo scummed after some pretty nasty days for his teammates.

    HM1
    @Dr. Watson
The town voice of reason throughout mid and late game. Town would have been worse off without her.

    HM2
    @RDK
Was torn between him and Ultra for the second HM spot, because no one else played super strongly. I gave it to RDK because his reads were more consistently right.

Thank you for enjoying I Think You Should Leave Mafia! I hope to see you at my next game, which probably won't be in nearly 4 years like last time.
