Tesla's best feats off the top of my head involve him and Edison constructing an electromagnetic magic cage that contained 72 Demon Pillars at once. A single Pillar is capable of continental scale feats like lifting Agartha

He can go toe to toe with a KotR who had backup from several other powerful Servants, and Mordred required a full TNR to overpower his lightning.

He also has the ability to transmute electricity to magical energy or vice versa via Galvanism

His speed should be in the ranges of upper tier Servants, so degrees of FTL (not sure where the last calcs had them)

And going by how Frankestein uses hers as well as Sieg's, Tesla can not only heal from his own ambient abilities being used but also from the opponents' and thus is basically a perpetual motion generator as long as he doesn't spam his True Name Release.

Nor getting into the BS Pioneer of The Stars which literally allows him to do some absolute bullshit things as we can point to Drake's insanity in the Turas Realta manga for some of those examples(Like being able to access her Servant abilities and Noble Phantasm because of that Skill... while she was Human).

Being seen as worthy and being a literal equal to the opponent are 2 different things, very different things.
Again, feels ridiculous to use that as a "justification"



All that tells me is Brunhilde is an idiot if Mr. OMG stated what she's capable of and... she didn't.

Brunhild has no reason to hold back given her no-nonsense approach to opponents as well as having no reservations about killing

The novels even goes on to say Brunhild was at her best when she fought Misaka

On one side was Misaka Mikoto the Railgun, one of the top ranked espers created by the science side.

On the other side was Brunhild Eiktobel who possessed the innate characteristics of a Saint that were exceedingly rare even on the magic side.

They were about to clash.

For a battle that was brought about by coincidence, it threatened to have great effects to both the magic side and science side.

However, the battle was overwhelmingly one-sided.

Academy City espers may have possessed quite a bit of power, but Brunhild Eiktobel possessed the rare qualities of a Christian Saint. And on top of that, she also possessed the rare qualities of a Norse Valkyrie. The two abilities worked against each other and the upper limit of her power changed over a set period like the waxing and waning of the moon. However, she did not currently appear to be having any problems related to that.

Novel makes it clear Misaka held her own against a Saint at their best, and that included her magnetic power being able to wrestle with them in a strength

Misaka held her off for the entire fight, leading to a stalemate

Uh, unless I'm reading something massively different... this does not mean she was an equal... at all.
I don't understand at all how this means that "Misaka held her own" and thus should be at the level of a Saint, it just means Brunhilde destroyed her in a fight. You can be seen as a "worthy opponent" while getting wrecked, see Joseph's first run in with the Pillar Men.

To make it seem like Misaka was screwed, then from there it’s shown she can handle Brunhild enough to force a stalemate.

Her lighting caused Brunhild harm and she was able to magnetically both stop a swing from her and hold her in place for about one second before shocking her.

Brunhild grabbed her giant claymore with both hands and swung it around in a full circle like she was performing a giant swing.

The explosive roar came slightly after the fact.

The air was agitated at tremendous speed and that deadly swarm that was being controlled by great magnetic power was struck by the even more tremendous power of the sonic boom created. The iron sand lost its form and was blown away.

Mikoto escaped the shockwave by controlling the rebar in the overpass road to create a thick wall of concrete in front of her. She used magnetism to once more gather the scattered iron sand and check on her next target.

“That sword!!”

Brunhild Eiktobel was aiming for Mikoto’s neck with her claymore, but the sword stopped in midair.
But once again it did not last even a second.

As if it was stuck in a wall and she was pulling it out, Brunhild ignored the great magnetic power and used her tremendous arm strength to forcibly swing the giant sword horizontally

She had taken aim. Bluish-white sparks flew from Mikoto's bangs.

With the roar of the air bursting, the lightning spear directly struck the steel claymore. Not even Brunhild was able to ignore that. The high voltage current passed from the blade to her wrists and then rushed throughout her entire body.

Meanwhile, Mikoto swung her left hand. It was the same motion as that used in a sidearm throw in baseball.

Something large moved as if following her palm. It was a giant mass of reinforced concrete. It flew straight for Brunhild to perform a deadly body blow.

Brunhild forcibly recovered from the electric damage in an instant and used her claymore and her physical strength to stop that mass that could likely destroy a building wall.

His NP is giga-bullshit at least. Restraining 72 Demon Pillars (with support from Edison but still) is one of the higher-end Part One feats from a normal Servant.

1. Don't see how that proves a single point you made whatsoever.

2. A single DGP was capable of holding the equivalent of an entire Country aloft on it's own power while consistently fighting Servants with no issues till it was completely dead. Tesla was the main power keeping 72 DGPs locked between him and Edison's NPs. That's still much further than anything Misaka has shown in that page that has me believe she's Saint level.

Saints (and mages in general) are performing magic even while doing what looks like purely physical attacks

At first glance, it might have appeared that the two men were battling in a purely physical battle of clashing swords, but magic was at the essence of their actions. They could not produce such destructive force simply by increasing their physical strength to a ridiculous extent. After passing a certain line, only a path of self-destruction where one’s own muscles crushed one’s own organs awaited.

At the same time as they were producing such overwhelming destruction with their bodies, they were also predicting what the various negative effects and other side effects of creating the ridiculous strength and speeds were and then using assisting magic to meticulously deal with those effects. Hundreds and even thousands of those negative effects were constantly being created in battle and overlooking even one while the situation changed from instant to instant would lead to death in that high speed fight. “Exceeding the limit” was an easy thing to say, but it took all that to actually accomplish it. And even with all that, the limits of a physical body could not be completely wiped away. In some situations, it was possible to come up with an ingenious solution in the construction of ones tactics such as with Kanzaki Kaori’s drawn sword technique making the battle quick. Both with Saints and with the power of Curtana, just having a large amount of power did not make one strong. In the end, someone who wished to wield a large amount of power needed the skills and disposition required to control that large amount of power.

By grabbing the lance and swinging it around like that, Kanzaki caused the Griffin Sky above to rotate around like it was caught in a tornado.

It was possible that the magical connection to the lance could be severed in case the lance got caught on a solid fortress, but it was no use. Kanzaki was not simply spinning the Griffin Sky around with her strength. She was also using high level magic to obstruct any kind of emergency cancel while at the same time using her physical strength as a Saint.

Part of me wants to be an asshole and harp on how big a deal the story makes of going above Mach one, but Fate does plenty of that so I'll let it pass

It doesn't look like Misaka is able to do much besides defend herself, and even when Brunhild is looking away Misaka feels like she's too dangerous to approach.

Dialogue between Silva and Thor afterwords implies Silva and Brunhild were holding back as well for reasons I didn't really get from the context of the conversation, which is enforced by the Saint with Valkyrie powers.....not using magic? Like at all?

She does have magic powers beyond just "Saint stat check go brr" right?
