Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Fatal Frame, and Nioh is a collection of games spanning various genres, developed by mostly Team Ninja (Fatal Frame developed by Koei Tecmo) and published by Koei Tecmo. Each game contributes uniquely to this shared universe, creating a rich tapestry of stories, characters, and gameplay experiences.

Ninja Gaiden:
Ninja Gaiden is a renowned action-adventure game series that focuses on the story of Ryu Hayabusa, a master ninja. Known for its high difficulty level and fast-paced combat, Ninja Gaiden offers a mix of traditional fighting and acrobatic exploration. The series also features a deep storyline that includes supernatural elements, tying in mythological creatures and powerful artifacts.

Dead or Alive:
Dead or Alive is primarily a competitive fighting game series, featuring a roster of diverse characters, including some from the Ninja Gaiden series. It is known for its fluid combat mechanics, interactive stages, and a unique "rock-paper-scissors" counter system. The series blends its fighting elements with a narrative that delves into the personal lives and conflicts of its characters.

Fatal Frame:
Fatal Frame stands apart as a survival horror series, focusing on Japanese folklore and ghost stories. Players use a special camera, the Camera Obscura, to fight and capture ghosts. The games are set in haunting locations, and the narrative often delves into dark, mysterious tales rooted in the past. The gameplay is slower and more methodical, emphasizing exploration and puzzle-solving.

Nioh:
Nioh is an action RPG set in a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period in Japan. It blends historical characters and events with dark fantasy elements. The game is known for its challenging combat, deep RPG mechanics, and complex level designs. Players face off against both human enemies and supernatural yokai, with a strong emphasis on strategic fighting and character customization.

Here is some info about Nioh by @Atem
Here's more information on the lightning-timing. It is actual lighting, and guardian spirits like Raiken are even representative of the lightning bolts that were cut down Ginchiyo's father. Raiken was literally the lightning bolt that was cut out of the sky by Ginchiyo's father.

Speaking of his guardian spirits. Kato is literally a shooting star that impregnated a she-wolf, and Isonade has control over the oceans.

Also, there's these two:

"The rainbow-adorned Tengen Kujaku is said to wield tremendous power capable of seeing into the future; it is algo flighty and mercurial. Those under Kujaku's protection will lead interesting lives full of drama and turmoil. Approximately one month before Nobunaga's assassination at Honnoji Temple, a great comet streaked across the nighty sky: some believe this may have actually been Tengen Kujaku."

"Pronounced "Gyokuto" in Japanese, Japan is home to many legends about the moon-hares, said to be capable of great speed. Some say that when lightning flashes across the sky, it is actually a moon-hare traveling to Earth and back. Legend has it that they spend their time on the moon making mochi ricecakes, or medicine; either way, these stories show them to have kind and caring spirits. Always working hard to make something useful. In time, the moon-hare came to be seen as the guardian of travelers, who would often venerate them to help ensure safe passage."

The former is true since William sees a vision of the future after getting Tengen Kujaku which lets him know Hanzo is in danger. The latter is unclear if it's just a legend, or truth. However, it probably is true.

Besides that, William is also functionally immortal thanks to Saoirse. Who makes a brand new body for him every time he dies.

In terms of destructive capacity, even the nine-tails can destroy large castles. It is also capable of reality warping creating large dimensions. Which is relevant as William gets the nine-tails after fighting it. Yamato-no-Orochi could destroy large castles and rock formations as well, and it's much weaker than William at this point.

Raiken, and other spirits summon actual lightning bolts from the sky too. Also, what Yamata-no-Orochi does.

It destroys both the castle, and the rock formation it is on. Just a reminder this yokai is weaker than the nine-tails.

Which as I already noted is in William's possession after defeating it.

Besides that, William's onmyouji magic lets him teleport. Summon, and unleash his guardian spirits on his enemies. Create shikigami, and even flying swords that can pierce through the fabric of reality into ours. Manipulate earth, water, wind, fire, and lightning.

Yes, and Lady Chacha (not to be confused with another soulless, robotic automaton this one is all woman and not a cold machine) fucks around with the sky just by smoking her pipe.

Also, William was able to defeat both Oda Nobunaga and Yuki-Onna in his rematch against them. The former of which is considered the single most powerful character in Nioh.

Specifically, yokai can naturally emit a disruption in reality that absorbs ki or life-force. He can use a ki pulse to purify those areas. Yes, William can manipulate ki too. He usually uses it to enhance his attacks, and to create bursts of energy that knocks back enemies.

Another thing to consider is the fact Amrita can't corrupt William Adams, or his Guardian Spirits despite absorbing a whole bunch of it throughout the story. They never turn into yokai. So, that would count as resistance to soul manipulation.

Edward Kelley can't mind control William Adams like he did Okatsu either.

I forgot but William also likely has Ouroboros. As seen here when he shape-shifts just like Edward Kelley does. Which means besides the shape-shifting he can steal, and trap Guardians Spirits. As well as turn people into yokai, control them, and bring them back to life as fiends under his control. Besides the short range teleportation Edward Kelley also seemed to have.

Completely forgot but Danjo is able to create the hidden teahouse between reality, and the Yokai World. It being somewhat similar to Yomotsu Kirazaka which acts as the entry way for the dead to go the afterlife. Which is relevant as William gets his Guardian Spirit too.
Also, Yuki-Onna was able to create a large snow storm by just existing that covered the entire Kinki province.

Then there's the Gasha-Dokuro which was made by Edward Kelley using Ouroboros.

Which drastically changes the landscape, and twists the surrounding area causing the Yokai World to bleed into reality. The two worlds becoming intertwined.

The Gasha-Dokuro is confirmed to be so powerful that it threatens to consume the entire world, and destroy all of humanity.

Most likely reality warping. Since Edward Kelley fused both Earth, and the Yokai World. However, that makes it more impressive since that means a lot of characters are able to mess around with time and space. Which was already clear with Danjo, and Lady Chacha who can mess around with reality too.

Another thing to keep in mind is that all aratama (demonic spirits) and nigitama (guardian spirits) are made by people's prayers and beliefs. So, pretty much every human being in Nioh is a passive reality warper.

Saoirse for example was made by William's belief in her.

This info of the cosmology from Nioh and Ninja Gaiden by @Atem
Basically, here is how that goes.

Gurdu creates the universe. After he creates the universe Vigoor comes into being as the opposite of it. After a battle between them Vigoor wins, and destroys Gurdu separating him into several different deities. Which destroys the universe at the time.

"In the beginning, a great inconsistency flowed out into the nothing; a nothing that was afraid of its own nothingness."

"...eventually it coalesced into the shape of the first Deity, Gurdu"

"Gurdu gave birth to all elements, and provided them with order and function."

"In a remote area of space from where Gurdu provided order, there existed the territory of a chaos formed from elements without shape. This chaos, which had been forgotten during the blessings of Gurdu, existed at first as only a instinctual fear, but eventually the chaos began to take shape and a consciousness was formed within it."

"At first this was just a small envious presence, but eventually it grew and became clearer. This marked the appearance of the Hatred."

"The chaotic nature of the Hatred further evolved it, bringing it to the level of a Deity. Thus, the ancestor of all Evil Deities, Vigoor, came into being, and the first conflict was set into motion."

"The ancestor of all Evil Deities, Vigoor, began to devour the territory of Gurdu, beginning at its center. During endless solar and lunar eclipses, the earth shook and split, the seas dried up only to flood into existence again, and intense winds swept over everything and fires burned down all of existence, ignoring even the concept of time itself."

"Then, a great change occurred. During the throes of the unending destruction, the body of Gurdu himself split into fourths. Each part became a Deity itself, controlling Sentiment, Wisdom, Immorality, and Creation."

"Eventually they would come together to restore shape to the world again, but in their panic-stricken state after their birth they still had little power."

"In this age of panic, the Serpent, Deity of Creation was the only one of the Deities who managed to keep some semblance of sanity. The Serpent gave birth to a tiny presence, something that no other being would even notice... the seeds of life."

"These seeds managed to take hold and grow in the storm of chaos, and ever so slightly began to evolve, eventually becoming thirteen Dragons, whose destinies were to be found in battle."

"The Dragons waged an endless battle against Vigoor, who never ceased in his attempts to bring the world into chaos of hatred. Eventually the Dragons were able to banish Vigoor to the very ends of the world."

"However, it was at this time that the youngest and lowest in position of the Dragons, the Dark Dragon, summoned the Hatred with its feelings of inferiority. Due to this betrayal, Vigoor was able to keep from being completely destroyed."

"In ancient times, humans lived in peace with dragons."

"But then came the Dark Dragon, a malevolent giant that wasted no time in plunging the Earth into an abyss of darkness. Their strength drained by the evil of the Dark Dragon, the remaining dragons placed their last hope in the hands of the humans in the form of one of their own fangs. Thus was born the Dragon Sword, a formidable weapon inhabited by the very essence of the powers of the dragons."

"The bearer of this divine weapon must possess the physical strength, vigorous spirit, and proficiency of technique necessary to wield it properly. If a weaker being were to attempt to use it, the blade may very well feed on the bearer’s soul."

"It was with this sword that the humans were able to defeat the Dark Dragon."

The Serpent who is one of these deities creates the thirteen dragons. The thirteen dragons after a long battle defeat Vigoor, and he separates into the many Archfiends we see in Ninja Gaiden. However, one of the dragons becomes the Dark Dragon. Which allows Vigoor to live on through it. Then in Ninja Gaiden? The Vigoor Emperor uses the Dark Dragon Blade to assimilate the rest of the Archfiends.

Thus becoming Vigoor incarnate. At which point Ryu Hayabusa wielding the Dragon Sword destroys him. The dragon sword which has all the might of the twelve dragons that were not corrupted by Vigoor.

Also, Nioh and Ninja Gaiden exist in the same world. William Adams defeats Jin Hayabusa wielding the Dragon Sword, and he can wield the dragon sword himself with no real side-effects. Only a being as strong as the dragon sword can wield it without their soul being consumed.

It also means Gurdu was that nothingness itself.

"...eventually it coalesced into the shape of the first Deity, Gurdu"

Yeah, but elements in this question is referring to literally all of the elements which the universe is made out of. It gets seemingly universal here where Vigoor is said to destroy all of existence to the point it ignores the constraints of time. Which sounds a lot more than just the Earth. Mind you, I don't have problems with that interpretation. It could be just the world, and that would fit in. That would still upgrade Ninja Gaiden to planetary.

This feat by Tengu from Dead or Alive (I assume this is the video you are referring too).

Also, Tengu is able to drastically change reality around it.

More Nioh and Ninja Gaiden info, plus Dead or Alive.
Also, even people without Guardian Spirits like Ashikaga Yoshiteru can traverse between reality and the afterlife in order to fight William Adams. Which definitely scales to him since he is one of the strongest spiritually in Nioh. So, even if you seal his ability to use Saoirse there's no reason why he can't beat your ass as a ghost.

Oda Nobunaga, and Lady No do the same thing in order for the former's rematch with William Adams. William Adams has Oda Nobunaga's Guardian Spirit too.

Another thing is that besides Yamata-no-Orochi being the real deal?

Susanoo, and Amaterasu also exist. The latter sealed herself in a cave, and darkened the land as a result. Yasakani Magatama was used to break her out of the cave, and give the land back the sun.

It's due to the fact he can even survive wielding the True Dragon Sword. Since a prerequisite to even wielding it is that you must be physically and spiritually strong enough to match it. Otherwise, it eats your soul. Besides that, weaker characters than him like William Adams have defeated the likes of the Gasha-Dokuro which was able to fuse the human world and yokai world, and the Nine-Tailed Fox which was powerful enough to destroy the world. The True Dragon Sword is not a requirement for either, and William Adams only gets access to the True Dragon Sword after he defeats the Gasha-Dokuro.

This isn't the same as Vergil and Dante being in SMT. Team Ninja were also the developers of Nioh (the same people who made Ninja Gaiden and DOA), and Nioh 2 continued this trend. Nyotengu also exists in the same universe. Which ties DOA into it as well.

Ryu Hayabusa actually has better regeneration than Vergil, and like William and Hiddy he can respawn after dying. For example, when Doku killed him in Ninja Gaiden and he immediately came back from the dead. Death is cheap in Team Ninja's universe, and easily circumvented.

Ryu can keep up with Vigoor who is fast enough to fly across the universe, and should be FTL.

Both Vigoor and Gurdu could manipulate time, and the former dies twice over because of Ryu.

Ryu himself can also freeze time.

By Summoning a clone of himself Ryu Combines elements with his clone and teleports or travels above the clouds to rain down a huge beam instantly hitting the ground and destroying multiple mountains.

After Ryu pierces the Archfiend named Vazdah head with an ultimate technique, it causes Vazdah to blow up with an explosion big enough to cover Mt. Fuji's diameter which is about 20 to 30 miles long, Ryu not only survives the explosion but is unarmed and doesn't have a single scratch on him.

Ryu and Yaiba caused this explosion just by hitting each other with their katanas.

The verse's stronger entities are easily capable of country busting.
Ninja Gaiden Book Of Genesis said:
In the beginning, the first deity Gurdu had form out of a great nothingness and began to give order and function to the universe.[2] However unknown to Gurdu existed an instinctual fear in a remote territory of chaos. As time passed this fear grew and took shape, evolving into hatred. Hatred would keep growing until it reached the level of a Deity. Thus the evil god; Vigoor, came into being.[3]

Vigoor, the ancestor of all Evil Deities, set the first conflict into motion as he started to devour the territories of Gurdu, beginning at its centre. Chaos enveloped the world while Vigoor reshaped it, causing endless solar and lunar eclipses to occur, as the primitive earth shook and split, and the seas dried up only to flood into existence again. Intense winds swept over everything as evil flames burned down all of existence ignoring even the concept of time itself.[4]

In the chaos, Gurdu eventually lost strength and fell apart, breaking into quarters, each part becoming a new deity with Gurdu's characteristics of Sentiment, Wisdom, Creation and Immorality. These new Deities possessed little power as they were born into a panic state of being. However the Deity of Creation, Serpent, who had kept some semblance of sanity, gave birth to the seeds of life.

The seeds took root, maturing in the chaos to become the 13 Dragons. Once fully grown, the Dragons waged a long, hard and fierce war against Vigoor that would span over the aeons, until Dragons finally defeated Vigoor.[5] The world now found peace, watched over by the Dragons as the Deities descended from Gurdu reshaped the world. It was during this time the first spark of human life emerged in early human tribes.

Though Vigoor was defeated, he would manage to hold on to existence through the envy of the youngest Dragon. This allowed his influence to re-emerge over the ages in many forms, starting with the envy of the youngest Dragon, who would emerge as the Dark Dragon, bringing forth Vigoor's death and destruction the world. Then in form of his spawn, the Evil Deities and Archfiends such as Vazdah who rose from Vigoor's corpse. These Evil Deities would spawn the Fiends who draw their strength from Vigoor. His influence finally emerges within the Holy Vigoor Emperor, the disciple of Vigoor who would later be infused with Vigoor's essence (the powers of all the evil deities) upon unsealing the Dark Dragon Blade.

Gohyakumine Bankotsubo, more commonly known as the Tengu ff Destruction, has enough chaotic power to destroy the entire world.

By combining quantum oscillation with real time tracing Lovelace was able to make an area exactly like the real world. Quantum interactions appear at speeds faster than the speed of light.

Yaiba defeated a deity who was controlling a dimension with planets/stars

Here is a calc of Yaiba swinging his sword at 13,886,111.89 m/s (4.6% the speed of light).
