Basically, she wants everything extraterrestrial gone. Including the Greater Will.Well, that would explain why she has you go kill Astel during her quest line, though she also had you kill Radagon who was keeping it out so.....![]()
I bring this up because Malenia's armor is made entirely out of unalloyed gold, and in it we see that she still retains a reverence for her brother.

Honestly ever since I read that first one, I wondered if it might actually have been Miquella manipulating Mogh all this time and not the other way aroundImagine if Miquella is the whole reason why Radagon wanted to fix the Elden Ring.

Mind you, this can also just be read as this being the catalyst for him to switch to unalloyed gold but it can also be read as this being the very first spell of unalloyed gold he attempted. Which he taught Radagon.
Very suspicious regardless since a lot of the magic Radagon knows comes from Miquella.
Big if true. There seems to have been a massive mistranslation.
The original text for Ranni's Age of Stars says, supposedly in this case, that her actual intention is to remove all Outer God influence from the Lands Between. And go on a voyage into outer space with her consort. Apparently, this is also the same world or even multiverse as Sekiro and Okina comes from Ashina.
You know, this is kinda not that surprising. DS1 had a lot of translation issues, like the fact that the Witch of Izalith's name was just "Izalith" being left out of the entire english version of the game. Idk how into the other souls games you are but this guy has a great series of articles breaking down translation differences and how they've created a lot of false urban legends in the lore. https://lokeysouls.com/I wonder if anything else might be mistranslated.![]()
Makes me hate Ranni considerably less.Honestly ever since I read that first one, I wondered if it might actually have been Miquella manipulating Mogh all this time and not the other way around
Because Malenia, Mogh, and even Marika apparently all see Miquella's potential to rise to true godhood. Also note the arm we see in the cocoon has clearly grown; Mohg "raising him to godhood" has found some way to counteract his defect of being born in a child's body. Gideon also clarifies that Miquella is only sleeping, so we know he's not dead.

yeah I really can't figure out why she would have killed himMakes me hate Ranni considerably less.
Still wish she didn't kill Godwyn though. Guy was the best demigod of the lot, and the only one willing to listen to reason.
She admits to it though, and I imagine it's because a lot of people would be able to overlook the death of the other demigods. Imagine if she had Mohg assassinated instead. Literally nobody would care, and the Shattering probably wouldn't have happened. And the Shattering is essential to what she plans to do.yeah I really can't figure out why she would have killed him
it doesn't really line up with anything we know about her or him
like Godwyn was such a bro he basically saved the dragons that were attacking him
he's a saint by soulsborne standards, especially with how gods are portrayed in their other games lol
Mohg would probably be glad considering his last words when you beat himShe admits to it though, and I imagine it's because a lot of people would be able to overlook the death of the other demigods. it's karma for how she did RadahnMakes me feel even worse for Malenia. Cursed with the scarlet rot. Mind controlled by her brother. Her lover is a lunatic who loves the god that cursed her, and her daughters with exception of Millicent also worship the scarlet rot.
And everyone around her that actually cares about her dies because of it.
Would be if she didn't start out that way at birth. I blame Miquella for that now. Since Malenia had her armor even then. That little shit is to blame I reckon. Probably because he wanted the stars back so he could become a full god.it's karma for how she did Radahn![]()
