I said the first thought when I saw it was that.

I'm not even comparing them. It's like taking a concept of one shit and turning it into a show.

Like if somehow bats wore another costume and another author run a new show base on that costume and removing Bats in the equation.

Can't really blame you for that since the dude basically looks like Ainz's warrior alter ego but in white armor, but as far as both characterization and story beats go the two are complete opposites.

Though it's worth noting the main antagonist is pretty clearly a much more straightforward copy of Ainz, or at least that's what it appears like.
