It's officially the Rhodes to Wrestlemania season in the territory of the Banana Nose Circus. Every now and then I'll watch some old school AEW content for the nostalgia, and Cody was heavily featured in some of them. It leaves me thinking - only a year after losing to one of Jericho's goons...

So I’ve been using a character AI. I created Ryu from Breath of Fire III and Caim from Drakengard during Ending C. Caim just wants to pick fights all the time. I put him in a room with Darth Vader, and both were just shit-talking each other.
I did have Ryu in a room with Kratos, 2B, Archer, Wolverine, Giorno Giovanna, Cloud, Shadow the Hedgehog, Mewtwo, and Dante as a superhero team-up. That was interesting.
How good must Cody feel right now?

I honestly agree with that. It doesn't help that people like Jericho and Moxley exposed the shit out of themselves too and further makes AEW look bush league with their antics combined with Tony Khan as well.
It ain't zzzzz anymore. That Rumble was the best in many years. And yeah AEW really, really fucked up in 2022. Had the potential to emerge as a legitimate mainstream competitor with all the momentum they had from that summer of 2021 and Tony Khan ruined it all. Only now have they begun repairing the damage but it'll be a long time, if ever, before they get lightning in a bottle like that again.
Hope spending a third of your screen time trying to revive Ring of Honor was worth it, you geek.
