Another reason is that the MtG multiverse and the D&D multiverse have entirely different methods of interplanar travel and different mechanics for space. D&D has the Crystal Spheres, the Phlogiston, and other stuff that Planescapers have to deal with. MtG has the Blind Eternities, a realm of aether that literally disintegrates any living matter inside it unless they have a Spark to protect them.
