y'all the big GG fans here what were y'all issue with strive story and gameplay reasons
For me, story wise it started in xrd but Strive saw most of GG's unique cast turn in to stereotypes and it felt like watching some generic ass anime plot but with a GG skin. We were looking forward to the new characters but they end up being near useless un the grandscheme of things. The biggest spit in the face came from Sol and That Man/Asuka's "fight" which has been building since 96. Over two decades for literally fuckin nothing.y'all the big GG fans here what were y'all issue with strive story and gameplay reasons
I just remember this dude switching sides like a revolving door in the show.the history behind sideways is the funniest thing i have ever seen for any character ever, to the point it doesn’t seem like it could be real at all because it’s too in character to have played out in real life
Charlie the Bubblegum Monster
Courage the cowardly dog for the last slot.

Kirby
Kid Buu
Nonon jakuzure in her Symphony Regalia Mk2.
ok so imagine if the constant switching sides thing got so confusing it even extended into real lifeI just remember this dude switching sides like a revolving door in the show.
Also that he had one of the coolest vehicle forms in the show, his body the motorcycle and his head the rider is pretty sick

that’s sideways
after this cartoon, there was a bit of lore from a previous motorcycle toy also named Sideways, that confirmed he was a universe hopper. Writers saw this information and built up extremely weird side plots where every Sideways was the same guy, (including the movie one who gets bisected) or that sideways was just this massive lie and we had no idea what was true. A Sideways even appeared that looked like all of them mixed together and claimed to be going to Shanghai soon (where he died in the movie)
except it was all a fucking lie
last year, it was uncovered that the original toy never said anything about sideways hopping universes. It was a lie one fan made up claiming he could translate a japanese site. That went unchecked for decades. Writers started referencing this erroneous claim on tfwiki and incorporated it into so many stories that it created the Sideways we know now. So Sideways, the ultimate convoluted liar, the most confusing character in a series full of batshit decisions, only exists because of a lie in the first place![]()
