Author tried to the bitter end to make Mubong look like some sort of sympathetic villain/cool or whatever but the guy ruined the entire series :skully

Following the big war with all the gods and such, Mubong becomes the new big villain. He spends about half the remaining runtime being hilariously ineffectual while the main characters mostly ignore him because they don't care about his vendetta, then suddenly becomes ultra-giga-powerful by absorbing.....the being Mori beat in his backstory.

He then goes full genocide and tries to kill everything, and the author also tries painting this as a tragic downfall instead of a lunatic angry a monkey is stronger than him. It doesn't work, and even worse the author has to keep boosting his power at random so Mori and co don't clap his ass.

It's just all downhill after the heavenly war.

If Kishimoto pursued writing Sauce instead of naruto we would have gotten Mubong.

:eksip Good thing someone sane enough to stop him from Fapping too much to the uchiha. No one probably did it for GOHS author so we got what we got. Author just kept fapping to Mubong until the end of the series.
 
I need to get back to Mars, I think I stopped soon after the tournament got interrupted

I don't know.

All indicators are that this is more Lovecraft inspired, right down to using the names of Lovecraft monsters and deities. This specific area of Hades is even called the Dreamlands where different places and times exist together like in a dream, which I'm sure is some kind of Lovecraft reference.

But I suppose that doesn't EXCLUDE the possibility of Hades himself appearing altogether, it's just I would doubt it at the moment.
