Like it's funny to me how they had that set-up in the first game but they decided to have Nero be Vergil's kid instead, despite it being pretty out of character for Vergil and still in desperate need of an actual explanation as to how that happened.

It honestly is weird as hell they went with "Dante is too much in the Demon Killing business to have a kid" nonsense when they have Dante say that line for Mundus...
Especially when it would absolutely be prudent for Dante to have a kid considering how just like with Bayonetta, they can't kill all of the Demons and we hear of no one else outside of Lady even being able to do anything more than just an inconvenience.
Not to mention I've never been a fan of that plotline since Ivy Valentine and Jin Kazama use it for honest to god BS reasons(Especially with Tekken 7 making that shit more superfluous considering Jin's quest should fail miserably because the HACHIJOU ARE THE CARRIERS OF THE DEVIL GENE AND HEIHACHI HAS GOD KNOWS HOW MANY SPAWN OUT THERE NOW!)
