So basically, they ran out of ideas for a show that was never expected to become as big as it has nor run as long as it’s been going and are now directly ripping off the sewage that is the original comic book for nothing other then the edgy humor and weak shock value.

The success of the show can be partly attributed by it avoiding directly adapting Garth Ennis’ writing in favor of (comparably) decent writing and now it doesn’t even have that going for it.

Between this and the show becoming far too leftard leaning for its own good, no doubt because the lefty fairies behind this show are right now seething over Trump’s inevitable landslide victory this November and are doubling down with inserting their politics into the writing as a coping mechanism, they should just wrap this shit up and move Antony Starr to some more deserving projects for his talent

It's actually because they think Batman is a fascist and they think Male Rape is funny which is where their own writing is becoming as bad if not even worse then Ennis original work.

And why? Because Batman is a rich, white, and successful superhero with money to singlehandedly fund the entire Justice League? That’s all it takes to be a fascist these days,

The Boys Tv Show is barely half a decade old and already feels like an outdated product of its time.

It’s only taken off from coming off the tail end peak of caped movies with movies like Avengers Endgame which is also just when people were also starting to get tired of this stuff and thus, there became a market towards edgy, subvert your expectations - style superhero stuff which The Boys promptly took.

I don't disagree but even Garth gave Tek Knight some depth which is almost never found in any of the other Supes beside two when he was not shoving in his edgy degenerate humor that felt like him self projecting his fetish. The Tv show just makes him an evil degenerate fascist rapist for no reason then the writers being 7 year old redditors. It's less a praise for Garth and more a sign of how fucking bad the TV show has gotten that it is making the original comic look less retarded.

The thing that pisses me off the most about Garth’s writing in the Boys over even the uncompromising vulgarity is when he pulls a Seth MacFarlane of using his characters as a mouthpiece for his unwanted views.

Like that time when Butcher kills Soldier Boy, an unflattering representation of Captain America as a transparent Fuck You to that character because Garth sees him as an insult to the soldiers that fought in WWII

Which is rich coming from Garth whose never done any kind of military service in his whole life yet feels he’s qualified to speak for them, while the creator of Captain America Jack Kirby actually served in the Army for WWII.

That I 100% agree with and I wonder if anyone gets on his ass for that precise reason. It also funny how much of a lazy rip off that whole plotline is from an older comic called Marshall Law which follows the exact same shit with the MC of the same name putting "Supes" in their place and one storyline involving a team called "The Christian Society of America" that is blamed by old ww2 vets for causing the war to go on longer which is exactly what Garth's lazy ass did in his comic with Solder Boy. Both comics being written by Brit Bongs having a seething hatred of American Superhero's really gives more credence to my point that Limey's ruined American Comics.
