Wasn't this shit supposed to give heroes more free time according to Hawks? The hell could those niggas possibly be doing

Apparently they have more to do despite it explicitly being stated villainy is at all time lows so your guess is as good as mine.

Now despite barely doing jackshit that's important they all get to be the greatest heroes ever :skully .

I still find Uraraka funny though. Like it's interesting for all the wrong reasons, she's back to square one because she seemingly wasn't able to be honest with her feelings like she was supposed to so that's gone. So she shelved that in presumably, which midway was supposed to be bad. So what the hells the reason? Did she realize that she likes the idea of Izuku as this nice hero or something and not much else? Did they go on dates and she realized Izuku's too much of a basic bitch who loves his All Might dakimakuras too much?

Shit man Vigilantes didn't even really confirm anything with Koichi and his 2 love interests but even then they did more than what happened with Izuku :mjlol........they did the main villain dying way better too.......and did a good job with number 6 being a great foil to Koichi despite limited interactions at times with him to make it feel that it's personal between them.......and he was actually competent..... yeah Vigilantes is what Mha should have been :skully

No one knows because Horikoshi bitched out and didn't even make Izuku and Ochako a pairing and I don't even get how. Something even Kubo did with Ichigo and Orihime and Rukia and Renji.
Again, people just giving Horikoshi handjobs when he does not deserve it.

Part of me wonders if Horikoshi did what he did because he took too much feedback from the salty fan shippers over the last chapter and proceeded to dump his original idea of Deku and Uraraka getting together just to please them. :kobeha

Horikoshi really should have just stuck to the original plan of Deku being a Quirkless hero that makes do with it anyway

It really does feel like a lot of the issues are from the authors fear of committing to an idea. If your going to perma remove the powers you shouldn't give them in the first place, nobody likes "Hero loses power" Storylines even when they are well done and this shit was never going to be well done.

"I used to be very strong guys!! The strongest in the world!! A real hero like All Might! Just like I dreamed it was... The story of how I became the greatest hero "

"Yeah sure Izuku, those burgers ain't gonna make themselves bruh"

Burger flipping boss: DEKU ARE YOU SHILLING YOUR GO FUND ME FOR THAT GAY LITTLE STATUE OF YOURSELF AGAIN? NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR DUMB STORY

One of the things I remember when it comes to Orihime was her goodbye to Ichigo where she basically said no matter what type of person she become, somehow she’ll find herself falling in love with Ichigo all over again

Ochako is like “damn you lost your powers? Ick” :catskully

For the Orihime example, it's even more poignant because she's referring if she was reincarnated into 8 different lives with 8 different personas and 8 different dreams, she would STILL fall in love with Ichigo every single time. It doesn't help she gradually falls in love with him through simply interacting with him and being able to completely figure him out well before anyone else in his class did.

Meanwhile, it's extremely apparent Horikoshi not only couldn't do the bare minimum, he gave it so much focus to not even give it the bare minimum. That's some absolute dedication to be a mong.

Man, if only I wasn't asleep when this happened.
I never liked Deku, but he was done dirty. What happened, was Hori unable to copy a better ending from somewhere else?
Does Hori secretly hate Deku too or is this part of a bigger plan?

MHA in general is a story that constantly tries to be more than it is and fails miserably. That's what this was.

It's supposed to be (I think) a kind of triumphant yet bitter-sweet send off as "look they're all older and moved on but in the end they still come back and Deku gets to keep being a hero", but not a goddamn thought was actually placed into how the build-up to that last picture of them all jumping into the horizon actually affects the characters and world-building.

The whole "his friends made him a suit which is why they were distant" thing thats supposed to be the emotional core of the send-off is so hilariously self-destructive to the series themes I genuinely can't understand how it got past an editor. Deku was more or less ignored by his friends for eight years so they could build him a suit so he could go heroing with them.

Thar fundamentally undercuts the two things the story is supposed to be about, "anyone can be a hero" and "friendship above all". His friends clearly considered his quirkless state to be a defect to the point ignoring him for a decade so they could "fix" him with the suit is considered a kind and generous gesture in-universe. Meaning Deku's worth to his friends is directly tied to his capacity to be a hero.

Horikoshi managed to speed run all the problems Boruto added to Naruto in a single fucking chapter, it's genuinely insane.

Maybe they don't see it as such?
Japanese culture is so screwed up that I believe they see nothing wrong when heroes (who don't really have a schedule) can't make time for the guy who "saved the day".
As for being a hero, you can't really be a hero with low level anime physics, that's why his friends came to help him.
I know it's bad cope at this point, but there's a chance it might be true.

The whole message of "anyone can be a hero" fell flat for me when Deku got All Might's powers. No quirkless kid was a hero in that series (movie aside). Laster boy was straight up a villain (idc what other say, he was one).
Did he break a few bones? Sure.
Did it really matter in the grand scheme of things? It mattered less than death matters in Dragon ball.
Anyone can be a hero, as long as All Might gives you his powers (and then some).

All Might heavily injured and missing part of his stomach still did more than Deku. Dude was running on embers since the start of the show and still took down 2 strong villains alone.
Deku being worth less than a yee yee ass Power Armor is just the icing on the humiliation cake.
