Anyone here that works on cars?

Trying to help a dipshit friend of mine out with a car that he’s been stupid enough to not even touch and just left sitting in the heat in the last six months.

Predictably it doesn’t start and I’ve so far figured out it needs a new battery since jumpstarting it with cables doesn’t work. Any advice to check for other damages once I find a new replacement battery? I’m wondering if the engine of this thing is irreparably cooked

It’ll definitely need a maintenance check

Gonna have him check for me. I left once jumpstarting it with my cables didn’t work. But you’re right about checking the oil and fluids. Should have done that at least
