NXT straight up ripping off Rocky 3 for the build to the Tony D'Angelo vs Oba Femi rematch. 
Not saying I mind it that much, if you're gonna rip off something, rip off something that was good like a Rocky movie (except 5). BUT it was a little on the nose, with Tony walking out of a match defeated like Rocky on the beach, then you got Tony and Rizzo straight up copying the Rocky and Adrian scene almost word for damn word.
You're laying it on a little thick is all I'm saying. Like I know it basically guarantees Tony IS going to win and take that title off Oba and you want him to get cheered when it happens...but honestly I think your efforts are in vain.
I don't personally have an issue with it, I like Tony and I like the story, but Oba is over like Rover. Hell people BOOED when you had Tony kick out of the first powerbomb at No Mercy, I think he's getting booed when he wins no matter what (not because people don't like Tony but because they love Oba).
Just take the boos when you get them, portray the win as a fluke/miracle victory and move Oba on to the NXT title scene. Basically do what the main roster did with Gunther after he lost to Sami.
