Kaien being playable: WTF?!
Yeah why not just put Arroneirro in the game?
His base move-set is effectively Kaien and he's got a release on top of that.
Kinda funny as Aareniero, Zommari and Yammy aren't in the game and don't seem to be either... except as potential NPC boss enemies only.
Aaronierro might be hard to put in the game given he’s a giant blob monster in his Resurrecion state that’d be too big for the arena
Of course. They could just make him switching to his Kaien Shiba face as his transformation while his blob form is just an attack animation
Either way, Kaien when he was alive as a playable character is cool fanservice that shows just how many characters the final roster could have if they’re using someone this minor. It’s like DBZ games that made Bardock, Fasha, and King Vegeta playable or Naruto games that made Minato playable years before Shippuden would bring him back to life
Plus it doesn’t rule out that Aaroniero won’t be in the game either

A demon lord might want to bask the world in darkness in the sense of taking it over as a tyrant, but Calasmos isn’t a demon lord, he is a cosmic devourer evil god. Plus this character scales to another who is stated to be able to destroy all space and time. Given that, would the quote on its own be reasonable enough to assume a universal feat or is the language too flowery?

But yeah, there's NO reason 18 shouldn't have picked up 16 and snuck away while Vegeta was still giving Cell the ass-kicking of a life-time.
The worst offender is STILL Vegeta though, even moreso because this isn't even the first time he got fucked up for doing this EXACT thing. Zarbon and Frieza both got him over the head of him letting them transform instead of just fighting them in base.
Goku vs Frieza really isn't the same thing because Goku at least KNEW Frieza had been at 50% and was simply powering up to full. He had reason to believe he'd still win anyway. By comparison, there was NO WAY of knowing how much stronger Cell would get in Perfect form so there really is NO excuse for Vegeta here.
Of course I still give Cell himself the prize for being the biggest dumbass of the entire saga over the Gohan shit later.

Only consolation I get is that Roman and CM Punk actually put him out for awhile(Especially as Roman is currently "out" due to Seth legit trying to kill him and Seth explicitly screwed Punk) because goddamn, I'm so fucking tired of Seth Rollins.
