I know I should've expected the "no classes" tidbit since that was already the case with Skyrim, but I'm still let down tbh.
Is it wrong that even after a decade of watching Bethesda spiraling downward into mediocrity and empty promises in real time and nearly all the creative minds behind Elder Scrolls having long left this developer that I’m still mildly optimistic about this game, at least from this leak?
I mean, taking place in Hammerfell AND High Rock in a single game is pretty dope and literally all they need to do is copy their homework with Skyrim just on a bigger map, which they’ve had more than enough time to study and analyze its success with all the Skyrim re-releases they do
Also, give us good character designs and leave out the alphabet / pronoun community and feminist cows for this to be a success
It’s really telling when even this much has you in doubt about modern Bethesda being able to pull off
I thought it was a fine enough trade-off for just doing whatever you wanted and with any RaceI know I should've expected the "no classes" tidbit since that was already the case with Skyrim, but I'm still let down tbh.
I feel like they might just have enough time to get rid of the pronouns and work on the character creator so that the women’s faces don’t look fucked up.Still expect obvious DEI character designs since it started development before the big pendulum shift, and you just know there's gonna be shills crawling out of the woodworks defending this by using the awkward vanilla faces of Oblivion and Skyrim as examples.
PmuchPersonally I just want Skyrim 2, and if they can somehow do that, I'll probably check it out. Otherwise? Back to modding Skyrim I guess.
Better prepare for ten-thousand loading screens and a bunch of meaningless filler."Starfield inspired exploration"
uh oh
Boi I don't need a reminder. I'm in their discord patiently waiting for some good shit.this is going to be a reminder that all of you should check out The Wayward Realms if you haven't already (game is still in development but I digress)
I like how Golurk is able to fly. Why?
"It's a magical space dragon. Grow up, it can fly"
That appropriately enough would basically be my response to any question of why "insert Pokemon here" can either fly or carry their trainer around across regions despite some of their small sizes?
IE. Shut the hell up, they're fictional creatures that display superhuman characteristics and even physically impossible shit on the regular. Machamps are stated to be able to throw mountains (at least I think that was Machamp) and you're questioning how a Pidgey can carry a ten year old?
Reminds me of the early MLP:FiM days when people would honest to God make theories and discuss how Pegasi were able to fly when their wings were clearly not big enough to do so...in a series with the subtitle Friendship is MAGIC.
why is it a ground type thenI like how Golurk is able to fly. Why?
Cause he can turn his arms and legs into rockets nigga
