Yeah I can see that, though most of his criticism isn't entirely unjustified, just much harsher than I would tend to be.Never is hard critical on people at first glance, so you can take what he says with some pinches of salt at times.

For example I can see why he finds Lyra Valkyria to be boring from a character perspective. I just look at it more from a perspective of she's pretty fucking young and has enough time to come up with a character later. Hell I would say that it's right there in the "thinks she's The Morrigan" thing, I would just suggest to play into that a lot more.
As for Thunder Rosa, I don't know what went wrong in her title reign so I can't say if it was genuinely her fault or just the booking but if it was that bad, I can see why he doesn't like her. I'm just basing her on what I've seen and what I've seen is fine and she seems to still be over (which is the only reason I think she even gets TV time at this point) so I wouldn't mind seeing her in WWE.
At least he's not the AEW-stans where the mere fact that Harley Cameron is not absolutely amazing in the ring (she's not terrible by any means, just not great 'cause she's still learning), justified her not beating Mercedes at Grand Slam Austrailia despite being one of the most over women in the company lately.
Solo Sikoa is by far the most improved superstar of 2024, especially from a mic perspective. The False Tribal Chief run really did wonders for him in that regard where yes, the issue was simply that Jacob Fatu is SO GOOD that Solo just wasn't believable being the head of the group.Again, I actually understand it too but like you said, he tends to be way too harsh and I'm just sitting there and being like "What shows we watching"?
Like real shit, Solo Sikoa has improved greatly on the mic and it's only a matter of time till he actually starts getting himself in the groove of wrestling with the main issue being that Jacob Fatu basically overtook the shit out of him because he was just that much better... the problem is that people have completely ignored Solo's entire history including NXT and even his stint in the Bloodline itself to act like he was always shit when that was not true. Solo's problem was that the fact that his aura was damaged due to basically taking too long to pull the trigger on him in earnest and thus having to soak up losses for Roman.
LA Knight I agree should be in the main event already and has gotten shoved out of it by Drew and Damien.Carmello Hayes isn't bad either, dude has gotten legit clean wins but his issue is the exact same problem that LA Knight has in that they are stuck in the Midcard when they should be in the ME Sector already(Which is worse because they then moved Main Eventers like Drew MacIntyre and Damien Priest to Smackdown when they didn't need to be moved there).
This is largely why I believe we've been getting so many releases lately, they needed to "trim the fat" as it were. The problem being most of them weren't being used anyway.Alot of the current issues with the men and women of WWE is more not really getting that chance to shine because... there is literally too many people in the right spots and thus are in places where they shouldn't be and the fact that it's extremely obvious Triple H doesn't want to diminish the belts' integrity meaning Champions will tend to have them for far longer than necessary despite it would take awhile of massive hopscotching for that to happen(That and the World Championship, for instance, was not held off well by Seth Rollins when anyone would have been a better choice)
It was just really bad. No real stories (mostly Tony's fault) but her matches were subpar and she was sandbagging people. As for Thunder Rosa, I don't know what went wrong in her title reign so I can't say if it was genuinely her fault or just the booking but if it was that bad, I can see why he doesn't like her. The thing is, I'm not saying Solo's bad. He's just not good enough to be having all these main events like he's had. He's not a massive star right now. Cody was right that he isn't ready. If you push anyone in the new bloodline, you push Jacob. He's the star there. Give me Jacob vs. Bron and I'll have a match I'm really looking forward to for WrestleMania.ike real shit, Solo Sikoa has improved greatly on the mic and it's only a matter of time till he actually starts getting himself in the groove of wrestling with the main issue being that Jacob Fatu basically overtook the shit out of him because he was just that much better... the problem is that people have completely ignored Solo's entire history including NXT and even his stint in the Bloodline itself to act like he was always shit when that was not true. I also have a sinking feeling that this could be a WrestleMania 27 situation, even though "I want your soul" was pretty climactic. Cody vs. Punk is the best possible match out of that chamber combination, and Cody selling his soul to keep the title could make sense. So apparently on the press conference after Smackdown, The Rock laid out one of the main points of this storyline with Cody is that "it doesn't necessarily HAVE to end in a match" so it's very likely that no match is on the table, at least not for THIS Wrestlemania.
As I've said, I don't think this Wrestlemania NEEDS a Rock match. In fact just having him as a heel authority figure trying to find and/or backing his corporate champion would still be a large boost to this Wrestlemania.
Still feel like it should be Cody vs Punk, especially if Cody actually sells out because Punk is the ultimate anti-authority guy and has already lost title reigns, main event and even Wrestlemania main event slots to The Rock before. I just don't feel like there's as much to work with for Cena vs Cody.
Nope. It will be 2 one-shots. DC vs Marvel and Marvel vs DC.Wow goddamn...
What if they brought back all those fights between superheroes from each universes whose outcome is determined by voter popularity...
