Playing the game shit, I still like watching the show.
Same for Power Rangers, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh! etc. Hell I just went back to the original Kamen Rider show to start making my way through that franchise and it's good too no matter how old the effects are.
Good shit will forever be good shit, regardless of who the target demographic is or how old it is.

I'd say try again but certainly not with modern western entertainment being the woke shit hole that it is.
an actual solid western kamen series, exists, its known as kr dragon knight, from cw, it was made in 2009/010, its an eng adaptation of kamen rider ryuki, obv ryuki is the better series, but the western one, they follow their own canon, and still use several elements from the actual story, it was a nice effort, back there, i can comfortably say, quality wise, its far better than saban's masked rider, lel
they even had, a good fighting game, for the wii, good times
A couple minor issues here, like Kratos's expression being too angry-looking as he leaps down from Olympus, but overall, this dude did a stellar job remaking God of War 1's first cutscene(and also that sick ass menu!)

But HOW MANY of those women in AEW, who are so much better in the ring than Harley, are getting the kind of crowd reactions that she's now getting each and every time she walks out there? There's MAYBE three or four and only ONE of them in Toni Storm gets louder pops than Harley.
This is IN SPITE of the fact that she is not that good in the ring. I don't think she's terrible, especially in lieu of the fact she's only been in this business for THREE YEARS. Of course the other AEW women are better in-ring workers than her, most of them are life-long wrestlers. The only one that's not is Julia and both her and Harley have the right idea in making up for that deficiency with good character work.
In MY mind if you're over with the crowd then I don't give a fuck how many 5 star matches you can put on as long as you're not total TRASH and she ISN'T. I care about if you can tell a good story and she CAN, she's already proven she can take the slop Tony Khan gives her and make pure gold out of it. She got herself more over than she already was through sheer charisma and talent. She got a fucking PUPPET Mercedes more over than the actual Mercedes.
I agree she's too green for a world title BUT, held by Mercedes Mone or no, the TBS title is NOT that. It's a mid-card belt and she's absolutely good enough for that. Could she benefit from improving her in-ring work? Of course she would and I believe she's dedicated enough to put the work in and that she WILL improve. Does she necessarily HAVE to, to keep herself over? HELL NO! She was already over when she was doing nothing but job on pure entertainment factor alone.
Did the crowd in the arena care that Harley's match with Deonna wasn't great? Fuck NO! They continued to chant "LET'S GO HARLEY" through the entire match. They are behind this woman 100% because they like her that much. She's not "basically a DIVA" because they were crap in every sense. They couldn't wrestle out of a paper bag or tell good storylines because they were hired for looks and NOTHING else.
They CAN'T afford to waste the opportunity they have with her right now, no matter how lacking she is or isn't in the ring. They have to hit the ground running and keep her winning, keep her on TV, keep her involved with storylines. That's part of how she'll get better. They can't afford to WAIT a year or two for her to get better in the ring, they have to capitalize on it NOW.
Now I get the frustration for Deonna Purazzo who is getting fed to Harley pretty much entirely because Tony Khan is a petty fuck and caught wind of her complaining about her lack of usage in AEW. But that doesn't change the fact that Harley winning is the right call.
