Question of the day
Sephiroth appears in a dark alley and your birth month determines who you can summon to save you

January - Goku
February - Kirby
March - Sora
April - Doomslayer
May - Mario & Luigi
June - Spider-Man (Insomniac)
July - Kiryu
August - Frieren
September - Cloud
October - Rick & Morty
November - Door-Kun (Makoto Yuki)
December - Jotaro

Do you get saved?

Sephiroth bout to beat this girl up and take her lunch money man
Kiryu.

So where does that land me?

Utter death by Sephiroth?

Or the contrary?

Edit - Okay despite my minimal knowledge of one these series and almost absolutely none for the other, if this is that Kiryu guy from those Yakuza games and if he’s the type of character that’s from a verse that’s presumably only wall or small building level at best then yeah I’m definitely gonna get buttfucked here.

YUKA the singer of DBZ themes (and the ending theme of my one childhood anime) is apparently gonna perform and sing songs from Kiteretsu Daihyakka on TBS. Another series from the same creator as Doraemon btw.

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

She also sang the endings of movies 7 and 8. And the last opening and ending of Kiteretsu.

I also love how DBZ anime predicted Gohan's look in Buu Saga.

Who treated it's cast better?
People voting for Yu-Gi-Oh!....over fucking DIGIMON! :whatisthis

I mean either these people haven't seen Digimon or haven't watched/read Yu-Gi-Oh in a while because it's treatment of anyone who is not the main character, the rival and/or the best friend character tends to be pretty bad and, as I've said before, the treatment of female characters is among the worst I've ever seen.

Even in the Digimon seasons where the gogglehead and rival get more power-ups than everyone else, you can still guarantee the other characters are doing SOMETHING, they are still being developed as characters and that's not really something one can say about Yu-Gi-Oh, it just isn't.

GX is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! series in terms of the overall treatment of its cast and that's still a series where a good chunk of that cast gets written off in favour of new characters in season 3. Sure Manjoume and Sho got good conclusions in Season 4 but comparing even GX to any non-sequel season of Digimon in terms of how it treats it's cast, is never going to be a favourable comparison.

Digimon is literally where every single one of the character are handled pretty well. even digimon adventure 2.

So Chad Japan only made an anime and gave the main character a cameo in Doraemon 30 years after that anime ended. 2 things in 50 years...
Yeah sadly.

:pepefinecry:

Btw the Anime adaptation was so radically different from the Manga in source material that the only thing they kept and retained was the eponymous tanuki-cat hybrid character with his innate reality warping/magic powers and shit. Everything else was changed from top to bottom. And it wasn't even animated by the same studio that did Doraemon, Shin-Ei Animation.

WHAT IN THE METRIC FUCK IS FORCE EDGE DOING IN SOME RANDOM ASS HOLY PLACE IN THE HUMAN WORLD? :scust

Sparda sealed his own power (ie Force Edge) in the demon world along with everything else. The whole point was that Sparda sacrificed everything to save the humans and cut himself off from his own kind and his home. I shouldn't even need to say that it also shouldn't be glowing without the two amulets the brothers have to unleash its power.

By God I shouldn't even need to explain why this is a stupid change, Vergil's main goal at this point is acquiring this sword and his father's power. A difficult task in the game for obvious reasons. It's the entire reason Vergil had to work with Arkham despite not trusting the man as far as he could throw him. If it's just in some random holy place, how the fuck wouldn't Vergil have already gotten it? If those mercenaries could get in there easy, there's no way Vergil couldn't or am I supposed to believe he somehow doesn't know that it's there? :tiredpepe

Also white rabbit seems to actually just be a demon in this version (which makes me question why Lady is even here if that's not Arkham) and we've already got him shitting on religion and trying to act hard done by because people fear "his world".
  1. The demons actively tried to conquer the human world MULTIPLE TIMES, they have good reason to fear you.
  2. It's not even that weird that a Holy place would house Sparda's sword as he's effectively a Jesus figure in this universe, who turned against his own kind to save them. That's why he's the "Legendary Dark Knight" and has whole cities worshipping HIM as opposed to God. He was also known to work alongside groups of humans such as the Vie De Marli so it wouldn't surprise me that he would entrust the sword to this place if he thought they could keep it safe, he just wouldn't be that stupid.
  3. The "humans need Hell to accept God and whatever" line worked better in DMC4, because Agnus was a power hungry human who worshiped a demon (for all the wrong reasons) and SURRENDERED his humanity to gain power. An actual demon saying this shit makes no sense. This would make more sense if he's Arkham but referred to the demon world as HIS world. Granted Arkham could just be saying that he considers himself a demon at this point but I don't trust the writer to actually think of that.
The more I see of this show, the more frustrated I get at it and the more I'm dreading watching it. :facepalm

Oh look found the anti-religous bullshit, thanks for getting that out there early, I'm fucking out :nezurun
The one thing you could say is that it’s at least a Demon giving their almost certainly biased stance towards religion

But yeah. This shits already a warning sign for some Reddit-brained tier writing and dialogue
