Dead Or Alive at most won't even get that. You'll have his friends play the fighting game in which they will go full retard stereotype and act like the only reason people play it is for the women and bitch anytime someone plays a dude(Despite Dead or Alive having some of the freshest dudes including Ryu fucking Hayabusa since the first fucking game) or pretend the actual mechanics don't matter... and that's if they don't play the Xtreme Series and pretend the Fighting Game is nothing.
And even THAT is somehow better than their "treatment" of Blazblue, Melty Blood, Arcana Heart and the like which is literally pretend they are just "anime garbage" and move on. It's one of the reasons I stopped watching MaximillianDood because while yes, man does help the FGC gain some traction with casuals, he's also a MASSIVE Capcom/Street Fighter fan first, second, third and fourth before anything else and that even includes Marvel which is why he's equally all over the moon for hoping for an MvC4 despite how retardedly expensive the Marvel License is and completely forgetting about the issues with MvC: Infinite acting like everyone forgot that travesty.

When Marnie Was There is literally one of my most favorite Studio Ghibli films of all time.
And for such a distinct anime film as awesome and kino as one I would comfortably place into the top 5 or even top 3 films from that anime studio and also perhaps the most viscerally emotional anime film I've seen to date (with only the likes of Totto-Chan competing with it for that position in my heart) to not actually win an Oscar's is just downright insulting, disrespectful, disgraceful, shitty, and cringe in all possible definitions of the word.
Compared to a top-tier Ghibli film, Inside Out would have been like my second pick out of all the Oscar nominations in the category for that year.
However I will concede that Inside Out was actually one of the more upper-tier Pixar films with the sequel greatly improving upon the first.
Still I think Marnie getting robbed here was just pretty much another example of how almost all Anime films get lowkey ignored in the Oscar's time and time again and by far the worst example and biggest proof of how badly Anime films, especially of this level of quality, have been snubbed and disregarded by old dumb white-ass boomers with their corporate America-centric bias. Until last year when Boy and the Heron took the W.
And I sure as fuck wouldn't be surprised if the main reason Inside Out won was just because they literally had two Pixar characters (Woody and Buzz Lightyear no less) announce live in front of the audience who the winner of "Best Animated" category would be and surprise it's a "Pixar" film:
