Like, there's a damn good reason why people tend to mock the shit out of Naruto females and alot of it is because Kishimoto just dead ass sucks at writing females to the point he makes other mangaka look so good.
In Dragonball, Bulma is still useful despite not fighting at all. You can understand why Chichi doesn't want Gohan to fight to the death(he's a little kid throughout most of Z for fuck's sake) and even she relaxes that as he grows older, Videl was never going to be a Z-Fighter but we clearly still see her fight against people with automatics and win handedly and she even learned to fly. And Android 18 basically carries the entire female side on her back past Bulma in Super.

Meanwhile, you have women who are consistently stated to be Ninja, as good as the dudes if not moreso and they consistently get dogwalked or just talk about boys over and over and over and over again.

If I had a penny for every time Randy Orton returned from injury at a PLE, only to be overshadowed by something that happened at the end of the show...I'd have two pennies...but it is weird that it happened twice. :mjha

Also we were always going to get Cena vs Orton again at some point in this retirement run, but imagine living in a point in time where that match will likely be a Babyface Randy vs a Heel Cena. :mjpls

Out of these 7 which should i use

I feel like it would be more original to write such a thing for a series that is not already dark to begin with, like Dark Souls or Halo which are already M rated games to begin with, and go for a darker interpretation of series that are more light hearted to make it feel more impactful to have them be changed so much and made so much darker and worse.

That is unless you are not writing a sort of analog horror story like you are with Metroid. Like just using the setting to make use of its darker elements, than using said series I mentioned would be fine.

Metroid: Null​


Samus Aran is no more.


The galaxy’s greatest warrior, once a fusion of human, Chozo, X, and Metroid DNA, has succumbed to something far worse—a relentless, hyper-evolving entity that cannot be reasoned with, cannot be stopped, and can never be turned back. What remains of her is an abyss of endless hunger, a void where her will has been replaced with something far more alien and terrifying.


When the universe fought back, it only delayed the inevitable. The Federation’s might, the Chozo’s knowledge, the last desperate hopes of the galaxy—all fell before her. But now, she has stepped beyond. Through the shattering of reality itself, she has entered a new world. One ruled by cycles of destiny, gods, and prophecy.


But Null does not bow to fate.


As she spreads her influence, she begins to rewrite this world in her image. Its greatest hero, broken and dying, is given a new purpose. The sacred and the holy tremble before her. What was once legend will be unmade and reforged into something else entirely.


The cycle will break.


The only question is: Who will be next?
