OBD Convo #58: We are the Heroes of Justice

overall

the biggest blame goes to disney, for ''giving'' the pass to say whatever she liked, even though, they knew, this would turn boomerang on her, she aint a veteran actress, she a new one, with fame, going over her head, disney devs, in the first place, should stop adapting their cartoon ones, onto live action ones

it also doesn't fit

i am not one of those people who take joy into watching others, breaking down, or even fake laughing forcefully, but you can tell, this was just a huge disaster, at all aspects

i hope she recovers from this, matures better, and make better choices of her words, next time, nothing personal with her obv

actually, it's a shame to see situations like those, no matter how bad words have been said, you see some truly pathetic comments, who take joy on this, like she did personally something to them, that's why, being stan/fanatic is even worse than these situations, cause they live, on the pain of others, a fake live, out of misery, out of their own shame, super sad, i am so glad i dont have insta or twatter

adi, this is how dmc3 manga dante acts, take notes, stop being a tryhard contrarian lad and trying to badly recreate a dante who doesnt act like ur own version

even dmc donte, had more attitude/personality than nf dante, not to mention, stronger too

Honesty feel this way myself. If someone is just being a dick I will mock and laugh at their failures, but as I grow older I do just feel like it was all just a waste to watch them destroy themselves. It will get to a point where it stops being funny and just becomes depressing since failure should be a lesson to learn better, not continue to drag yourself down. Look at Mel Gibson who almost ruined his cred with that infamous tirade he had and how everyone attacked and mocked him and young people like me went along with it. Only realized later he was having serious mental problems and was sorry for how he acted, and now he has tried to fix that by owning up to it and improving his behavior.

It's certainly true that Disney set her up to fail like they have with others, but she's responsible for her own actions and it probably would't have bombed so badly if she hadn't been so insufferable. Experience is a harsh teacher. Let's see if she learns.

So the Young Bucks make their return...and help Jon Moxley (the guy whose trying to destroy the company THEY helped build) keep the title. How in the fuck does that make ANY sense?

You had Swerve Strickland win last year for bullshit reasons, had him lose the title for bullshit reasons and now that him winning was just the obvious choice, you DON'T FUCKING DO IT! :really

Tony Khan is just deliberately taking the fucking piss at this point, he has to be. Like I'll fully admit the Wrestlemania build has been pretty meh to bad outside of a few things this year, but by fuck if AEW doesn't make it look fucking Shakespearean by comparison.

The rest of the show was predictable boring trash, Megan Bayne lost ALL her aura because you had her lose within 2 or 3 months of being there and you just threw the fuck away the best chance you had of ending this Death Rider crap pre-All In.

It better be Hangman Page to take the title off Moxley at All In, it's in Texas for God's sake (Page is from there) and the Death Riders have made enough enemies to do the Wrestlemania 40 thing (only nowhere near as good).

Hell I'll take Will Ospreay at this point, fucking ANYTHING is better than Jon Moxley and the Death Riders still being on top. :expepe

Bro, you think that shit is bad, realize that Swerve basically dedicated the end of the post match... to basically shitting on Booker T for daring to call him out for appearing on VladTV despite literally losing in the same fashion that Booker T did against Triple H and not even in a way that made sense.

That's not even getting into the Black Communities' main issue with DJVlad or the fact he explicitly shat on Black Women in a similar podcast.


The more you dig, the more you lose respect for Swerve and realize he's just a race baiter who only wants the accolades of being a Black Man and want to suffer none of the smoke in the process.
Again, I didn't even hate him to, just hated how he didn't respect Booker T in what he did for him but it went straight into vehement disrespect.

Yeah that's some bullshit levels of disrespect, Booker T is one of the reasons Swerve and other black Wrestlers are even able to be taken seriously nowadays. Yeah Vince used that world ONE time but guess who isn't there anymore?

Not even mentioning how Black Wrestlers continue to dominate the NXT main event scene for the men, Street Profits being tag team champions etc etc. Just because there's no main event level Black guys on the main roster doesn't mean they're not being treated fairly, it just means they don't have any at the moment who could be moved into that spot.

Even on LFG, there's more Black guys on that show than white and they get a lot more screen time. As opposed to AEW where...it really is just Swerve himself and the Hurt Syndicate (three former WWE guys mind you, one of which was a world champion in WWE).
