I mean they were talking shit about ASTA'S sword from Black Clover, the fucking Demon Slayer, for not having a God-damned POMMEL. :facepalm

The sword that is literally supposed to look like a rusty hunk of metal, BOTH because it's symbolic of the giga-chad who uses it in the series AND as a direct consequence of the fall of the previous owner. It's SUPPOSED to not look good, it's supposed to not look fancy, it's supposed to go with the main character who is a simple-minded lovable goofball with a birth defect and little else but the capacity to brute force whatever gets in his fucking way. :heston

Once again CONTEXT Shad and Tyranth.
A lot of these blades look the way they do for more reasons than "just to look cool" which the Demon Slayer still does by the way.

That legit makes the Fate Excalibur example even worse because Excalibur was literally designed and created by the Great Fairies as a final defense weapon for the Earth in case of Alien Invasion(which was literally done and why it was made on the spot) and threats to the people on it as well.
So he's basically bitching that a literal Planetary Weapon isn't 1:1 with Western Made Weapons :heston

Yes a show that BARELY resembles the material that it's based on is the BEST way to experience Devil May Cry, right? :scust

Also the games are old and hard yes, but they are NOT Soulslike nor have anything in common with them other than they don't hold your hand so I don't know what the fuck that came from.

This couldn't have just gone the way of The Acolyte and died a swift death, we have to drag DMC through more of this shit. :smh

A reminder that Netflix and other Streaming Services tend to get one Season and split them into 2 Seasons...
It's basically what's happening with the TYBW Anime except even more ridiculous as they are actually working on each individual cour while this the Netflix DMC show, like Castlevania is already most of the way finished.
