OBD Convo #59: RealxEyes


It's getting ridiculous that people are still making excuses for Gege's failings including overplaying his injuries and acting like he was forced to do JJK(Which doesn't even make sense, how the fuck can Gege be forced to do his "passion project" when he was trying to get JJK out there in SJ in the first place?!) rather than point out his myriad of faults especially post-Shibuya.

It's not even hatred or anything on my end, Jujutsu Kaisen had genuine potential and it stalled the fuck out before it even got a third of the way there. Megumi and Nobara was genuinely pointless due to how little they mattered in the grand scheme of things(It's not that they didn't exist, they ultimately never really got the chance to be defined), the worldbuilding is absolutely shallow as hell with no real answer on why Curses are exclusive to Japan but Sorcerors can be born in an extremely small rate outside of Japan(You think there would be Jujutsu Societies across the world despite that fact considering even a 0.01% is still like thousands of people at the most across the world) or even why the 3 Major Clans are so beneficial in any fashion past the Zen'in Clan.
This isn't even getting into the plot points either abandoned or done offscreen either and regulated to a single page at most.

Is this just for vs or all over the site?

Because if it's the former then that section is going to become far more of a toxic cesspool echochamber than before.

But if it's the entire site then I can't help but feel it's a covering for far more insideous behaviour...
