lads, this is still by far the best portrayal of ss1, the flowy fluffy ssj1 hairstyle is too good, too iconic, back when toeiland was putting effort on those little details, that made these scenes too lit, the non static/fluid animation of that era, still rocks
this is one of those things about the modern super artstyle that just feels off compared to the original stuff, its so weird im very hard at vocalizing the differences and how they bother me, i think its a lot of stuff, the colors, the art style, the music, and funny enough probably the lower quality

Wrestlemania Night 2 got off to a fantastic start, the first like half of it was great.

Couple stinkers towards the end and a main event that was killed stone fucking dead on arrival by the crowd REFUSING to play ball. Obviously the lack of Rock made it not hit has hard as it should anyway but the storytelling in the match itself was actually good and made all the sense, we just needed the crowd to co-operate to have it hit home, but NOPE. 🤷‍♂️

I think the crowd thought they could try and FORCE a Rock/Hogan scenario, without of course thinking for two solitary fucking seconds about how little sense that would make here given the motivations of the guys involved. Rock/Hogan didn't have any stakes beyond pride and being a dream match so they could get away with pulling the double turn mid-match. You couldn't do it here so the result is the crowd just made everything look fucking awkward. :smh

Overall I'd say Night 2 was better but not by a whole lot and overall this Wrestlemania was a massive letdown.

Again, I think you are giving it way too much on that but I can fully understand the crowd killing the vibes of the Main Event as yeah, that can fuck up alot of shit just so they can have their "Heel Cena is finally being a Heel" moment.
Felt like Smarks returned to the WWE which holy shit no.
Night 2 was a big improvement over Night 1 but it still had some bad spots. If Night 1 was mid, Night 2 was alright to good.

Well the main event is what's freshest in my head right now and it's going to cast a dark shadow on the entire show.

To be specific on the positives.
  • The triple threat match was great (yay for Iyo), this may be an ACTUAL instance of the women stealing the show.
  • Drew and Priest could have stood to be a little longer but still was an entertaining street fight.
  • The IC Fatal 4 Way was another banger and it'll be interesting to see what they do with Dom as champion.
  • AJ Styles and Logan Paul was okay but the lack of any real build definitely hurt it.
  • Joe Hendry accepting the open challenge was a surprise, it was entertaining if not a good look for the TNA world champ a week away from a title defence.
The Women's Tag was sloppy as shit and why the hell are we putting the tag belts on ANOTHER singles main eventer...and the IC champion? :whatisthis

I get that Becky was here to justify it being on Mania but what does she do with this now, other than (seemingly) regurgitate the same plot we JUST did with Bianca/Naomi/Jade as it will obviously be Becky who took out Bayley?

Already said what I had to say about the main event, I don't think I've EVER been as frustrated with a crowd while watching a match. It almost seemed like they were actively silencing/deliberately drowning out ANY attempt by people to cheer for Cody. And yeah, it needed The Rock, NOT the fucking rapper or whatever he is that nobody cares about.

Being fair, it was a good show until the last two matches, at which point it kinda shit the bed.

Literally Nobody:

My Easter Day: Undergoing a failed attempt at a blood donation for a second time in my life since high school for a Buddhist humanitarian nonprofit organization like Tzu Chi and quitting when I found out my hemoglobin was just short of the threshold of 13 required for donating my blood after taking the finger stick blood test and my biggest achievement was surviving the finger stick blood test.

And I had to say good bye to all three of our old PC machines (and all the old pre-2011 data that was still inside the hard drive) which I donated to Tzu Chi for good use.
