Largely that's not an incorrect statement, at least when the "silent protagonist" is just meant to be a blank slate the player can project themselves into. That shit's just lame.

Then you get ones like Isaac Clarke from the original Dead Space where him being silent just made no sense, given he was clearly meant to be his own character, what with the search for his wife and literally going crazy.

I'm sure it can work in certain circumstances, but largely it's just not how I like my protagonists.

So we got a MUCH better Dynamite this week, it was actually pretty decent even.
Boy some people who were glazing last week's show would shit on me for saying that. :maybe



For the record Tony, THIS is the circumstance where a roll-up finish actually makes sense, when it's an UPSET win.
NOT when it's a tournament match and certainly not when it's two tournament matches in a row ending the same damn way. :really

I don't even care that heel Ricochet needs to be winning more and has already lost too much, 'cause I like Mark Brisco and he deserves a win now and then.

Shit like this reminds me that too much of Wrestling takes itself way too seriously nowadays. That's part of why El Grande Americano is so entertaining, it's a breath of fresh air. This is wrestling, it's ALLOWED to be a little silly guys.



Okay much as I'd love to see this feud continue like it SHOULD have done to begin with (these two should have been the Owen finals, instead of Page and Ospreay) you missed your chance for this Tony by not having MJF in it. Page now needs to win the Owen and win the title from Moxley at All In, that's all there is to it.

Well at least if Khan expects me to have any interest in the All In main event, 'cause if it's Ospreay vs Moxley, I'll take Ospreay over Moxley with the title as I've said but you wouldn't be able to pay me to give a shit about that match or feud.
 


Oh yeah I do have to mention this because it was some cringe-worthy shit.
So FTR are now the...wait for it...LIVING Legend Killers...oh how very creative Tony! :smh

Putting aside the fact that neither of these guys have an ounce of young Randy Orton's charisma, who the hell is the Mick Foley counterpart for them to feud with that'll help the gimmick actually get off the ground? Because Edge sure as hell isn't gonna put them over given his track record in AEW.

I shouldn't need to explain that nobody cares how many random old men you have them beat up. That's NOT why the Legend Killer gimmick worked as well as it did.
 


The TV show ran out of the Bruce Straley content and now adapting the purely Druckmann writing that is the second game

Must suck to be Druckmann right now, being reminded yet again that your entire career was carried by other people with actual talent and not a single bit of it earned on your own merits
