OBD Convo #9: The Sith Never Die

MB got me thinking on my story
how would you merge Old+New Christianity with Norse Mythology Gents?

Honestly it's up to you on how you want them to be merged. Are they separate? Together? Various realms fused into each other? Separate but on some level connected to each other?
Is certain characters are combined like they are in some tellings of Christian infused Norse Myth like Loki being Satan?

It's one of those special ways you can infuse them together.

ah now who may this be

that
somewhat there own Realms/Universes but still connected to one another
which brings in the TheWorld Tree

Ah well then focus on that and find a way to basically establish it in a fashion where it makes sense.
Like have the World Tree be figurative and be a gateway to multiple realms and universes.
Or have it be literal and do the same thing and establish how that works.

1. Neji's death was when Kishimoto came up with Boruto

"He then explains that it was at this time when Kishimoto came up with the name of ‘Bolt’ for their son, which has a similar meaning to ‘Neji’ (screw), as a homage to the late uncle who brought his parents together."

2. The Boruto manga was not planned to be produced yet by the time of Neji's death (chapter 614)

"Kishimoto says that ‘if’ there is a manga about Bolt (nb: it wasn’t confirmed by this point), he wants to include scenes focusing on Neji. Kobayashi asks if it’s ok to mention something like this [project], and Kishimoto says that this is only hypothetical."

3. He intends for Hinata to be the main female character of Naruto

"Kishimoto explains that because he decided to make Hinata into the lead heroine a while back " (while back here is relative to Neji's death during the war)

4. What Sasuke would do after he left Konoha other than he'll fight Naruto again wasn't planned

"Kishimoto agrees and says that after writing his leaving arc, he was a bit frustrated because he didn’t know what to do with him anymore."
"Kishimoto said that because Sasuke was introduced as a rival character in the beginning, he also wanted the manga to end with Sasuke and Naruto fighting as rivals."

5. Teuchi (the ramen guy a.k.a the goat), or at least an early concept of him, was the first character created during the first draft (there were 3 in total) of what would later become the Naruto we have today

"Apparently he started out wanting to write a story about an old guy who owns a ramen shop and a young boy comes by, or something uninteresting like that. Other things also got mixed in with that like a story which was supposed to be really spectacular and it was about straightening up their lives and other emotive plots…"

6. He wanted to spend more times on missions and developing the worldbuilding that way instead shoving everything into the Chuunin Exams

"Kishimoto didn’t actually originally intend for that kind of setting. Originally he intended to focus on various missions that Naruto went on, meeting 4-man cells from other villages. The teachers of the 4-man cell would be Kakashis rival."

7. Orochimaru and his role in the Chuunin Exams wasn't planned and came from an editor

"But his editorial team told him to introduce a villain called Orochimaru in there that would stop the tournament from being finished instead."

Okay seriously, we all call Kubo a hack but holy shit is Kishimoto giving him a run for his money with most of this shit...

So his Editor basically came up with the best conclusion for the Chunnin Exam, and is the reason why Orochimaru, Anko, and his entire backlog of characters exist?

pretty based Editors.

Remember his Editors are the main reason why Naruto really isn't an actual Nine Tailed Fox that becomes human and the teachers are all animals that turn into humans...

Kishimoto has shown and noted he had some quite frankly AWFUL ideas for Naruto and it was his editors who primarily saved his ass.

editors carried hard

did kubo editor team also saved his ass that much? I mean he already had bad ideas but could always been worse

From what I've gotten, Kubo and his editor didn't gel at all and they was the chief reason why he expanded on the Espada and why he focused away from the Tatsuki and Co. and made it go to the Shinigami faster.
So it depends on you whether they helped him more or not.

>Says he's also got a little bit of "yaoi fangirl inside him".
