Yeah because we're discussing battles to the death and ripping someone's head off is not only a valid way to kill them but is also actually in-character for some people in the Bleach verse.

Character repeatedly shown to have superhuman strength is somehow weak as piss when they lose their main weapon as if that strength would just inexplicably vanish.

Although Kenpachi did trip up Giant Gerard so he's not TOTALLY helpless without his sword.

But Ruby Rose is beyond that now according to Spacebattles... because she headbutted a dude and wrestled Harriet to the ground... after the latter was due to her being off balance due to Ruby's BS Semblance evolution.

How hard would it have been to have Ruby and Yang train with each other so they could help to overcome the other's weak spots? Yang could teach Ruby how to fight hand to hand and Ruby could teach Yang how to DODGE! And it would be nice way to develop both sisters' characters.

But that would be giving the writers too much credit, obvious shit like that simply doesn't occur to them.

Or hell, she's supposed to be a weapon nut(that the show itself forgot but not shit like BBCTB like it did for everyone else), why not just create more handheld weapons and train to use those if you lose Crescent Rose?
But nah, that would require more scenes and actually focusing on Ruby and we can't have that when Jaune, Oscar, Nora and Ren exist... when they shouldn't really be there for so long.

After the battle with Isshiki and Naruto's Baryon Mode, the series literally peaked and has gone downhill ever since. The Death of Kurama, Naruto's and Sasuke's nerfs, the shafting of the side cast, Kawaki's weird motivations, Code being boring, etc. I can't even watch the Anime now since I know...
