you said that flower's suggestion that gad is trying to out the real cop is different than her initial reasoning for not buying the claim, which was that he was already outed as the DV. but it stands to reason that if she believes he's an outed DV fake claiming cop, then trying to out the real cop would be the most logical reason for him doing that.
