FRLG is one of my favorite games in general. The Sevii Islands added so much replay value for me, and the sole complaint I have with the game is the tiniest nitpick ever: they randomly made Giovanni's fight end with an unevolved Ryhorn for no apparent reason instead of the Rhydon he has in every other game, Gen 1 included.
HGSS have so much love put into them. I like the simplicity of Crystal, and it's my favorite game in the series overall. But HGSS is basically "Crystal but better and with more to do"
