Point Man (F.E.A.R.) vs. Gordon Freeman (Half-Life)

Mostly to see if Gordon is as craaaazy as the rest of his FPS protag brethren.

Standard gear and in-character, the fight takes place in a warehouse district; familiar terrain for the both of them.

There is no way Gordon is touching The Point-Man.

Gordon Freeman gets by largely through plot armor, and help from others. That, or help from G-Man. His Hev Suit does make him pretty durable, and can patch up broken bones and protect him from radiation. Point Man meanwhile is actually superhuman, has some psychic power, definitely has super speed, and can even kill The Creep. Which is a threat even to Alma.

Huh so everything Gordon does in gameplay is the extent of his abilities? Then again Half-Life has no real cutscenes...

And extreme luck. He may have psychic resistance though. Since the final boss of the first game was a big time telepath that enslaved an entire species of aliens.

Well, guess this clinches it. Gordon is just a man in a suit of power armor it seems.

Still badass though. I mean he can cut through basically all the black ops forces in his way, and even destroyed a tank. There's a reason the G-Man chose him. However, that's not really gonna help against Point Man.

I guess if you gave Gordon the super gravity gun this could end differently
