Oh come on don't shatter and ruin my dreams of subjecting the Tekken-verse to even worse stomps and humiliation at the boots of the Street Fighter-verse.
 

I actually want Ingrid back and redone in a smart way.

UDON is not the current director and game designer of SF6 who seem to know what they are doing.

I trust them to do it right.

I love when people come into bitch about stuff and yuck someone's yum instead of offering anything substantial to contribute. And of course DD liked it. He's the biggest hater of current Capcom despite them doing essentially everything correct right now.

God forbid people try to get excited at the prospect of world expansion without anal fuckers coming in and being naysayers.

I don't particularly like UDON's portrayal of anything (except the interesting concept of Shin Ryu) either.

But the Capcom hate is a literally ridiculous at this point when SF6, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and RE are all popping off.

She technically was done the right way the first time(That SHE was the person that was behind Soul Power/Psycho Power the whole time and the literal Goddess of the Street Fighter Universe) and people complained about that because "it's too much for Street Fighter" but apparently, the absolute bullshit that is the Darkstalkers Universe is somehow ok?! Where you have Demons powerful enough to banish others from one reality to another? Where a Demon can be strong enough to destroy and create dimensions in their sleep? That a normal human can become strong enough to hurt Demons because absolute sheer hatred?
These are completely incompatible with Street Fighter as a whole.

Dude, I'm saying that to bring up the point on if Capcom can basically allow such a retarded telling of Morrigan Aensland from UDON, what you think they will do to try and crowbar Darkstalkers and Street Fighter together?! This isn't King of Fighters or how Koei Tecmo connected Ni-Oh into Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, this is like trying to connect Breath of Fire to Star Gladiator. They are that fundamentally incompatible.

It's a dumb idea and looking into other places, they just don't fit. No one is stopping you from having "any fun" but just like how people see the "dumb love" for Jump Crossovers, that doesn't mean they are in the same universe for extremely obvious reasons.

What I what I meant by done right is with an interesting redesign fit for SF6.

Once again, the Street Fighter x Darkstalker shit was all done during SF5, when terrible decisions were being made at Capcom.

I offered an interesting idea for how it could be done. Instead, you want to be like "well it hasn't been done right.....so it can't be....because fuck Capcom when they were making all the bad decisions!".

I didn't particularly enjoy them then either.

However, I'm enjoying what they are doing now.

My dude, there are still bad decisions being made over Street Fighter even now and some of the easiest is the fact that M.Bison is still alive, the story refuses to truly move forward to any real degree and alot of SF5's plotpoints(and thus SF3's) just vanished into the ether for a potentially stupid as hell "plotpoint" in SF4 to be an "eventuality"(Akuma becoming Oni) rather than actually going into anything truly meaningful.

And they want to add Darkstalkers to that? No thanks.

Because I don't believe they can do it and there's nothing at all showing Capcom CAN do it. Like I'm not even getting the hell is even happening here, I didn't come in here to shit on your idea, I came in here to agree with @OtherGalaxy that officially molding Darkstalkers into Street Fighter's world is a terrible idea for many, many reasons and even brought up series and franchises which did it well or did the slow building blocks no problem.

It's no different than Soul Calibur having a few bits of Tekken within it which "apparently" has them in the same universe but it would be dumb as shit if they was actually the same universe due to so many questions.

wasn't trying to start anything with this lol I just personally don't think the two settings can mesh in this way. I like the general direction of SF6 and am still interested in seeing where it goes, and like any Darkstalkers fan I hope it gets....something down the line

The funny part was I didn't even come in here with the intention of starting anything, I just agreed that Darkstalkers and Street Fighter wouldn't mix well at all and remember UDON's horrible handling of Morrigan Aensland as just one easy example and didn't want to otherwise repeat what you said.

And Heihachi is Heihachi and people despised him coming back to life in canon when he could have just being a non-story active character as a compromise(or a Nightmare Heihachi like playable Geese is in any Fatal Fury game he's in after the first game).

And did Heihachi coming back ruin Tekken 8? No. The overall focus in bullshit offense is in most people's opinion. But that is being changed in Season 2 it seems.

You were alluding that Capcom's choice to put Bison into SF6 was a TERRIBLE decision that still makes you not trust them at all (coupled with their bad decisions in the past).

That's fine. I don't think putting Bison in was terrible. Lazy? Yeah. Was it executed well though? Yes.

I don't think it's bad enough to ignore all of the good-will that Capcom has garnered over the past half-decade.

Posting examples of things that you hate about Capcom from the past as a reason not trust them for future work even though they are doing really well right now and pumping out quality products? But you're not hate posting?
