I wouldn't really expect that of him. But possible, could be that he just didn't see the issue with it and went from it, perhaps with no one telling him otherwise.

Pretty clear she didn’t put together the scum flip and what it meant for my claim lol

That’s probably the biggest indicator of her being scum - I feel like she’s more likely to have made the connection as town whereas as scum she probably took the scum flip for granted somewhat. That said it’s not impossible for her to make that kind of mistake as town either
