other than Whole Cake, he hasn't been able to shine until now postskip, and Zoro fans have already gotten plenty

I am glad for both.

Zoro needs Sanji and Sanji needs Zoro.

The bitching between the two is gold.

And I see them as close Zoro stronger but close unlike how Zoro fans see him close to Luffy and far from Sanji.

Zoro is close to Luffy per se when he get PUs. For example ADv COC Luffy and current Zoro are not close at all, they were between FS and ADv COA maybe even when he got ADv COA.

Sanji's new durability and regeneration while possible to neglect Zoro's 2 and 3 sword style, it will be overwhelm by Zoro's high end 1 sword and 9 sword style.

Sanji with raid Suit is likely similar level to the weakess FM and Zoro likely above King when going all out.

Oda writes the dymanic both ways. He will portray Zoro being close Luffy and Zoro/Sanji being near equals.

Just look at Onigasha, Zoro fights alongside Luffy agaisnt 2 yonkous and also fights alongside Sanji against Kaidos top two men

- Luffy always fighting the big bad in all arc, while Sanji and Zoro fighting the two strongest subordinates
