TYPE-Moon/Nasuverse Feats/General Thread - People Die If They Are Killed Edition

Basically he spells it out that Sherlock cannot be the traitor by default because he will always align with humanity even if it means doing unscrupulous things ( just because someone is good does not make them just)

he then placed a geass on us as a gamble in case either Sherlock went rogue or things went horribly south but he erased our memory of it
 

That makes sense, it also makes sense why Holmes tried to betray the AG on his own terms and then basically sacrificed himself and Young Moriarty.
It probably would lead to a way out for Holmes even then so I can agree with that.
Something I am trying to figure out is... is Young Moriarty really Chaldeas Moriarty or is that a translation flub? Not because it wouldn't make sense(It would still fit with his goals) but more I wonder how did they make him old and he reverted back to his younger form? That seems extremely complex unless they have a way to screw with a Servant's Age.
 
It’s prob a case of
Old moriarty= alien world servant

our moriarty= shinjuku moriarty aka der freischutz

they can share a baseline spirit origin but are probably two different people

if the base is the same then younger moriarty could have memories of his older self possibly or he’s a mishmash of spirit origins
 

Okay that makes more sense but just like with LB6, we will have to wait a little more for more details to come around and basically when it comes out in NA for complete details.
 
Oh yeah, FYI. Young Moriarty's 3 Divinities are the Norns so basically, he legit is the King Crimson of Fate and part of the reason Holmes sacrificed himself.
Pretty fucking hilarious being able to screw with Fate to get the results he wants.

It comes with major weakness though, mainly once Holmes out of picture, it loses its effect.
Dunno how it translates when Holmes isn't around

That and declaring that chaldea will be victorious in the end

He stopped that ICBM one with Balmung beam. The next consecutive 3 shots are weaker so he was able to tank them, but still took some dmg.

Props to Astolfo-chan too, who managed to bypass Tametomo's full power arrow (although spam version managed to overwhelm him a bit) and beating him, Adam- style with Trap of Argalia.
It should be noted that Tametomo managed to double kill him though

Speaking of that:

The various scenes of him using his Noble Phantasm. Gotta give more props to Lasengle for really going the Tsukihime Remake Route with these cutscenes now more than ever, really making them look massively impressive now.
 
Random question, but I'm assuming Shirou couldn't hypothetically trace something like a Zanpakutou from Bleach?
Or would that be wrong?

And on that note, where exactly does Shirou sit in terms of strength compared to actual Servants?

Zanpakuto's have souls, so probably not.

He's in that weird category of "comparable but lesser" since he's definitely weaker and slower than any of them by himself, but he has to be at least somewhat comparable to have kept up at all.
 
So I was reading up on some vsb pages for Fate characters (specifically Angra Mainyu's), and Vlad apparently stated that the Holy Grail can "incinerate eras"?
That's an interesting thing for him to say if that's true.
 
Could someone give me a run-down on the basic description of each of the Dead Apostle Ancestors?

I didn't want to ask this in the circus thread so as to not clog it up, but a certain someone off-site is trying to claim that the Nasu statement regarding Artoria standing a good chance against "those 27 Apostle Ancestors that overwhelm through material quantity and alienness would be a tough fight for them" refers to all of them and not just Nrvnsqr Chaos.
