Verses carried by top tiers

You know, verses with such a huge disparity between the top tiers and everyone else that only the top tiers matter in vs debates, the kinds of verses where the top tiers are the only thing preventing the verse from getting mauled by pretty much any character you could think of. Those ones. :maybe

Starting with the obvious pick: RT-era RWBY has a cast consisting of low small building level characters, but the two gods of the verse manage to be sub-moon level/probably multi-continental, and are the sole reason why even street level characters don't completely solo the verse (but most EoS shonens still do lol).

Mortal Kombat also seems to be one, given the top tiers range anywhere from planet level to multiversal, yet the remaining 90% of the verse is city to building level, lol.

Buffyverse

Verse is mostly street level, except for the occasional world ending spell/artifact (ranges anywhere from destroying the planet to destroying the multiverse) that tend to pop up surprisingly frequently

jokes aside, saitama also counts for opm land, he literally carries it, pl wise, lmao

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic - They jump from low country level to solar system level minimum with a ton of hax.
Pokemon - I mean they pretty much jump from planet level all the way to universal/multiversal at the top.
Digimon - Same as Pokemon only working at an even higher scale as we jump from Tactimon cutting stars to megaversal shit.
Ghost Reaper Girl - We have building level in terms of actual feats but we also know Yog Sothoth created Hades/The Afterlife so. :maybe

Jjk.

Most of the verse is MCB and lower. Special Grades are only around town level.

Then you have Gojo and Sukuna who are the only two who are near large town-city level.

JJBA with Heaven DIO, GER, and Kars (Jorge Joestar)

Dies Irae - VN stays at City Block to Town level in feats all throughout its run, then for the finales of its last 2 routes, suddenly jumps straight to Multiversal territory

The Dark Tower - Gan, Los, the Beam Guardians , Demon Elementals & Todash Space put the series to ridiculously biggaversal levels, when most of the cast otherwise are street level, if not outright normal humans (with some exceptions, such as Walter).

The Unwritten - Similar to the above, Leviathan (and its ilk) put the series to ridiculously biggaversal levels, while most of the cast are just street level to maybe small building level (although there's a potential for Tom/Tommy to be higher).

besides JoJo, I would have said Transformers but recent stuff has made me realize there’s a ton more universe level characters than I had considered

Bionicle’s god tiers are large star level, with one being solar system, and no other character in the series really comes anywhere close to that aside from taking some author statements at face value that put some people at large planet level

JJK
Literally take out Sukuna and Gojo (The latter gets carried by Infinity) the verse

The Boys Homelander tv version is the main nigga carrying the verse and thats via hype

Gravity Falls-Axtol and Bill(depending on interpretation) hard carries the verse thats nothing to write home about in feats

Chouja Raideen. Jumps from building level to Universe level.

A feat from Choja Raideen (超者ライディーン; 1996)

God Raideen, the final villain of the series, is an almighty demon created by the angel Raiden during the Holy Genesis War. It was sealed by 12 (Actually 13) Zodiac Orbs. His body cannot be damaged by normal attacks, and his power can instantly destroy major cities on earth. He uses someone who can take the place of the shrine maiden Sayla to control him, but he does not necessarily need a pilot because he is self-aware.

God Raideen is awakened when Lushu De Mon, the main villain of the series, uses the 13 Zodiac orbs and the God Scream to wake him.

With God Gorgon, God Raideen summons a bow that can shoot light arrows. With this, God Raideen destroyed the most important cities of the world and killed millions of people.

In God Bird form, the flames from his jets can destroy a city.

God Raideen has infinite power and can destroy an universe. He destroyed Makai in the Holy Creation War.

According to Lushu, the Makai is the outer fringe of the universe.

It seems that the emotions of his pilot affects him in personality and appearance. The dark feelings of Ruri turned him into a black version of God Raideen.

The only being that could stop God Raideen is Raideen S, the fusion of the 10 Raideen. Raideen S took God Gorgon without getting damage and God Bird, the attack God Raideen uses to destroy a universe, only destroyed his armor.

God Raideen can travel to different universes and eras where he takes different forms. God Raideen mission is to erradicate evil. He only destroy universes if evil wins in those universes.

He was considered by japanese fans the strongest mecha until the appearance of Getter Emperor and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

The Chronicles of Narnia - The Emperor Beyond the Sea and Aslan's true self being massively multiversal, and Aslans 'lower world' self being at least universal, and Father Time being anywhere from planet level to universe level, and Jadis being able to lifewipe a universe, other than that most of the characters are only street level (with some exceptions)

I guess Devilman also applies here

Most of the verse is like, building level and then suddenly you have universal top tiers

Fullmetal Alchemist, if you buy into Truth's hype and such
i think galo just found statements that Truth straight up made the universe

so yeah it’s pretty lopsided there
Doesn't it say it IS the universe?
it has probably been 15+ years since i read fma i dont remember the exact wording at alll
Yep, the guides for the manga & anime confirm Truth is the universe, as well as at least two of the three realms Truth resides over being infinite (which is also something mentioned in the story itself).

I'd also say Father and Hoenheim count for this too as they're island level, and God Father in the anime is at least continent level, which is well above the usual building to town level of the series.
