Calc Eureka Seven - Giant Anti-Body Coralian

Calculations


A giant red anti-body coralian flies into the sky and destroys multiple Air Force planes with a barrage of lasers. Keep in mind that the Air Force planes are huge, and ergo, the anti-body is also huge. It 's hard to scale it in a single image, so I stitched a few images of it together to get a complete picture of it. The end of a standard Air Force command plane's wing is 39.336801m.

We'll have to get the thickness of it's body with other scaling, but we can at least get the end of it (I dunno if that's its tail or what). Volume of the end of its body as a cone.

Unfortunately, I wasn't sure of how to calc the volume of the head, but hopefully the parts left out help balance everything out right.

V = 9631.08114 + 1110949.29
= 110949.29m^3

These things seem to be biological to some degree (they have eyes and teeth, when they're torn apart there's blood), so the weight of flesh seems to be fitting here. The human body on average has a weight of 1010kg/m^3 (plus when the 1246 seconds are up, they turn into salt, which has a similar weight of kg/m^3 to the average human body weight.

M = 110949.29 X 1010kg
= 112058783kg

Let's get the timeframe (and a reminder that this has a 30 frames per second frame rate).

T = 498.348097m/0.5s
= 996.696194/340.29
= Mach 2.92896116

With all this in mind, we can finally get kinetic energy.

KE = (0.5)mv^2
= (0.5) X 112058783 X 996.696194^2
= 5.56597826e13 joules
= 13.303007313575526 kilotons

Keep in mind it's well behind that command plane too, so the final results would be even higher.
