Ain't that the truth? Having content for certain races isn't actually bad but holy shit, how about actually make it about Black Issues that anyone can relate to or how others can get a good perspective on it? Like I don't know... The Wire?
But nah, that would have to pretend that Black People are complete snowflakes and the cause of anything that happens is due to the EVUL HWITE PEPUL
diversity is good but the thing is if it's written well then you aren't conscious of it, because it just feels like what you probably see when you walk outside every day (at least in america)
having to draw attention to it as a selling point shows you haven't put enough effort into actually fleshing out minority characters. In its own way it just circles back into being racist or whatever again because the group is just a cash grab tool lol
Thinking of actually making a New Vegas collection next. Since my Cyberpunk and Dragon's Dogma ones are basically complete.
Should it be:
1. Vanilla Plus: Basically, like Viva New Vegas and focus on bug fixes and general gameplay and stability without getting too crazy. What texture mods I would use would be vanilla friendly. I would also restore cut content, and add a post-game mode.
2. El Blanco Deluxe Maximum: Go completely nuts, and try to remaster everything. Liable to make the game crash a lot because the engine is fucking ancient.
In the former case it will probably be around 200 mods like Welcome to Night City. In the latter case 400 to 600 mods. To be perfectly honest, I am not certain the latter will work that well for a lot of people. Since New Vegas is even more finicky than Cyberpunk 2077.
