Wenwu is Thor/Hulk level (apparently everyone in the MCU is nowadays 🙄)

I forgot where the OBD accepts them at but if they’re above town level then I guess he wins

Was there an official statement saying this? I don’t remember Thor/Hulk being referenced in the film :hm

his feats sure as fuck not Thor level

Does Disney Vader not scale to comet kinro though? afaik that's the highest disney wars feat and is at least island level

It was a statement about the Avengers not being able to beat the Dweller or some shit
Was this in the movie? It could just be pure conjecture like when Aquafina’s character said the Dweller was a universe buster if he ate the dragon’s soul even though nobody at Ta Lo told her this.

Other feats put Vader abit below that level with force amp/shields if you discount kinro (can block proton torpedos and should be able to able rip apart ships with similar durability), I don't know how kinro scaling is handled though

well this makes sense because the Dweller was some soul entity that could only be harmed by dragon scales and the ten rings. Other attacks just went right through it, so of course Hulk isn't going to be able to beat that, it has basically nothing to do with DC though

The director said Shang with the rings was on the same level as Thor and Hulk by the end of the movie

The question was literally “how are the power levels like, is Shang stronger than Thor and Hulk?”

According to the VFX team, the Avengers as of Endgame can’t beat monsters that are Godzilla-sized (I guess giant monsters are just the top dogs in the MCU)

But that same team goes around and makes Shang kill a monster even bigger than Godzilla (the Dweller)

Basically, the VFX team thinks Shang > the Avengers

but the director of Shang Chi was more reasonable and said he’s as strong as Thor and Hulk by the end of the movie

Ok, gotcha. So I guess from the context of that we can probably infer that he pretty much means pre-stormbreaker Thor since he and Hulk were in the same league at that time and current post-stormbreaker Thor is on a different level than any of the mcu heroes we’ve seen so far with the exception of Strange, Wanda and maybe Carol

Probably yeah. I think these guys have Mjolnir Thor in mind when they say this

I mean it’s more believable than Namor being as strong as Thor but weaker than Hulk according to Coogler lol

Honestly I think this is more them saying that Giant kaijus would be a little much for the climax that already had a lot going on especially since we know there are a lot of characters on the battlefield that can handle kaiju creatures and above. After all Strange, Wong and every other Kamar-Taj sorcerer was there along with an entire army of warships from Wakanda and across the galaxy so It's hard for me to take that giant 100m tall kaijus would be too insurmountable but if we take it as that's what they meant we can still disregard that given the contradictions from what we know the characters are capable of and that its info from the VFX artists and not writers/directors/Feige himself

That page with the VFX team ended up with “easier to defeat” which is basically them saying that they will defeat them eventually.

I feel like people would need to ignore the context of the final battle to take away the impression that they wouldn’t be able to take something like that down. They were literally fighting Thanos + his army already.

I don't find it hard to believe Shang Chi is on the level of Thor or Hulk. Pre Storm Breaker tbh.
