I don't mind Dissidia taking the DBH route where it's technically """""canon""""" by virtue of it being at least the offical crossover for the series but otherwise separate from the series outside of expanded universe shenanigans but when you try and actually connect it to the series itself it's like ehhhhhhhhhhhh

I don't think it's canon like that, I think it's only canon in the sense that it explains shit that happened in Final Fantasy I more clearly(And FFI was fantastical even compared to other FF games considering "Stable Time Loop that lasts 2000 years" is literally something we knew about it)
Idk all my knowledge on Dissidia and a lot of FF in general comes from someone I know who's basically a massive FF/squeenix simp so if I get anything wrong I wouldn't be surprised considering he also has a tendency to be wrong about things
