Although Cid's stats means this doesn't come into effect. While the idiot likes to showboat, he ain't dumb. An opponent that may give him trouble means he deals with them by back door aka assassination, attack from behind, etc. It's just that in his series, he rarely finds such opponents, and even when he finds them, most of the time it's an honorable battle as he respects warriors.
The MF is honorable, like really. He does cringy things a lot, since Shadow Persona but he is also a warrior. And, against a warrior him holding back in any form is just against his code, and yes finishing shits like that is not in character for him to do, but mostly because he holds genuine respect for a powerful warrior.

Nothing from what I've seen from Iceman AZ doesn't work since quincies weaker than Yhwach have resisted it. Time stop is out of the question and I haven't seen anything that counters Yhwach's Almighty so far.

In fairness he DID receive some military training from Chris in between 7 and 8 but yeah, nothing on the level of the career soldiers/secret service members and people who have survived multiple outbreaks. Chris and Leon in particular are both viewed as legends in their respective groups.

He also helped to take down the largest and arguably strongest creature in the series, that being the infected Simmons in RE6.
It comes with higher intelligence. Killer Whales are also particularly nasty with how they play with seals they caught by thrashing them and launching them in the air for as much as a hours after the animal’s been beaten to death before eating the poor thing
And even then, they don't eat the whole animal, only the parts that they like.
