it’s because he risks his identity if he takes on a large group of people. Basically his insane paranoia keeps him from it, it’s not so much about him losing the fight
I can agree in that I feel part 5 has one of the weakest finals in JOJO, but at least when Araki went out on having the Good guy going Giga-hax mode he went all out and made up a broken ass ability that really lived up to the hype stabbing your stand with the Arrow would do. Hell in some ways, I prefer it over Part 2 where the plot itself had to literally intervene to save Joseph and beat Kars.All of this is reminding me of why despite thinking it's a cool design and ability in general, I don't actually like GER from a writing standpoint. Feels like Araki gave up on the crew beating Diavolo conventionally and just had Giorno go giga-hax mode

secondly, gers power worked on both the present (erased) temporal universe and the future/time skipped one, and killing someone outside the flow of time is not the same as being reset to zero.
kc was the side effect of its time-skipping to a future time-locked universes is the present/past one gets temporarily erased. GER is multiversal in range and scope, GER does not need or care about things like space, distance, reality, or concepts or actions. It can remove those all to the value of zero. It did this to lolvolo while technically erased from existence during kc's time erasure. That is why ger is a big deal.
Isn't the MC's ability basically Imagine Breaker on steroids btw?

Same. Before coming here, I legit though Ainz might do the trick. Hell, I didn't even know that JoJo is such a bullshit series. Now I am embarrassed by all those past Jojo threads I made.When I knew nothing about JoJo, I thought GER was just some dumb robot based on its design

tbh I honestly have no idea where Unexplored-Class individuals would sit at this point
It really didn't. Mostly because it was less a battle and more a chase with Joseph having to get the biggest amount of plot armor to defeat Kars.
