Because she's such a hot topic. That's one.
Two is because the random Town read on CP is part of her Town play. So that's not even the reason to read her scum. What makes her scummy is her disappearance afterwards. Though I would think a scum Psychic would, Idk, fight back harder?

Yeah I have 0 interest in trying - it's impossible! I see your reasoning but you also give him license to tunnel with this. Being dismissive is the perfect response to people who deserve to be dismissed. It's that, or clog up the thread with an argument no one needs to read.

Well, no. I would like for him to drop the tunnel on you as well. Tunnels are unnecessary and give scum the opportunity to just coast. But if you're being too dismissive you invite him to tunnel you more because he'll think you have sth to hide. So please, just work together if you're Town. You don't have to talk much with him.

Not sure why you're acting like her statement makes no sense - generally non-hostile Indies wouldn't need fake claims. I know your convention is different, but I don't recall Ultra ever providing them (I think he dislikes giving fake claims in general). And given that Ultra is the host... probably important!

Ultra is the host, though. And I think he has similar conventions as Ratchet and they only provide fakes if needed.
