I know it had to do with the Qliphoth fruit granting the user greater power and the ability to make illusions (hence the thing Mundus "created" in DMC1 wasn't a full blown universe) but I don't see how that contradicts the other stuff

Mundus' "creation" WAS the strongest evidence for universal DMC and it's specifically shot down by the reveal of the fruit's power in V.

Don't remember anything else of even possible substance that supported universal DMC.

Not really, several characters make reference to RULING one or both worlds and Trish claims Mundus wants to combine the two.

The problem there being the demons still need shit like the Temen Ni Gru fortress to connect the two worlds and even Sparda needed to use a ritual involving human sacrifice to seal it, or Yamato to separate the two worlds.

Nobody does anything of that scale under their own power or without something like Yamato whose true ability is separating shit.

This is the exact same thing many here shame SB for when it debates Games. You take LORE AND STATEMENT AS WORD OF GOD until proven OTHERWISE. If you say that feats>>Statements then nobody here gets here to bitch about SB's take on Elden Ring, DragonBorne, and every other VN and game. The first thing I ever said when I came to this forum was in terms of the game, lore-myth-statement is the rule. No objection until proven otherwise-and I remember many agreed to this. So why now...

Sorry and don't roast me for this, but Meteore didn't do much. Yes, the day and night cycle count and I won't exclude it-but affecting the whole star (unless we take lore) is doubtful. The stars in Elden ring are interchanged regularly. They have Regular Stars-like Sun, Falling Stars-like Astels, even meteors are sometimes interchanged with Stars.
