well yeah both Seiya and Shazam are simple brawlers for the most part
Dark Schneider vs Shazam has some similarities but the personalities are too different, and Bastard!! is dead in the water as a series, so Seiya vs Shazam probably works better.

-has fought a wider range of opponents, and opponents more similar to Vegeta than Vice versa
-has more versatile abilities, such as weather control, which he can control even from space and across universes
-better range (sending shockwaves across the multiverse as opposed to sending shockwaves across a macrocosm of a small group of universes)
-resists Vegeta’s stuff (resists soul destruction, resists atomization, resists timeline erasure with prayers/Glory feat [needs to be sourced])
-can absorb and re direct Vegeta’s own attacks back at him, 100x stronger

-Realistically is vastly weaker than Goku
-Much faster without DBS multipliers, much slower with multipliers (52 quintillion vs either 300 quadrillion or 400 quintillion)
-Similarly skilled and experienced
-More intelligent
-Has fought a more diverse array of opponents
-Slightly superior versatility
-Superman's T-Vo is less versatile than UI and Goku doesn't create illusions or affect the conscious mind so it's effectively useless in that capacity
-Similar or inferior range to Goku
-Goku's regeneration possibly could counter lobotomy if it wasn't forgotten by the writers and contradicted by later showings
Really if they do scale speed up then Goku is faster but the likely AP they would give Supes is way too high unless/until DBS gets its shit together and does better feats
