Also, I don't remember any of Touma's forms giving him any significant boost in range. He obviously has the AP to deal with planetary threats, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he can stop some really large creature from swatting away the planet at any given moment, especially if it's intent on avoiding him, and just swatting away the planet from the other side. There really isn't all that much that he can do about it.

But if as you said, Dormammu is normally just human-sized, then there is a debate to be had, for sure.

"Scales downward"

I'm pretty sure I know what you meant but that is the worst possible way to say that

Touma being above them but not having similar feats means he scales to their feats. There is no "downward" scaling, that's just normal scaling.

Downward scaling would be like a dude who busts a moon being said to be weaker than a dude whose best feat is city level, so we downscale the moonbuster to city level

having planet level durability is something I could actually believe for touma

Him swinging his non IB hand at someone with that level of durability themselves is another thing

Like we can totally cap Hydra Hand Touma to whatever level Sparky McTsuntsun is at if you want, but that seems counter intuitive :skully
