Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

If we got trexalfa or Fabtastic Glasses on here, they could cover the gaps I’ve got with the rest of Shinza

Because I know fuck all outside Dies Irae

the only actual light novel series i ever read, tbh was chrome shelled regios, very lit

the anime was solid, but the actual material is far better

Only read Kamachi stuff when it comes to light novels: Index, Heavy Object, Unexplored Summon Blood Sign, A Simple Survey + Monitoring.

All thanks to js06 regularly translating nearly everything the man’s ever written on Baka Tsuki

Going to be reading the ITEM spin-off eventually as well as Peerless Hitman when that has a few more chapters released too

You think they’d do what I did and signed up on here if they got such a problem with it

:hestonpls

I like how you aren't giving me any examples when it's well known GaRbS doesn't even read Fate, he gets cliffnotes and uses DeepL...

Blaze is on a similar boat and barely reads anything but the anime at points.

Siriel explicitly downplays the shit out of it despite consistently being in the Nasuverse Discussion section just like that Reddit post state.

Unironically the only people who even have a clue what they talk about and give it a good shake is Shiny and BBHottepu of all people.

Like goddamn man, you don't have to consistently treat it as if I'm basically going "same as me" when it's obvious you don't know anything of what you are talking about here.

To avoid another feud between us. let’s just agree to disagree

Especially since this started with me saying I disagree with SB when it comes to several things about Fate

Cuz I’m burned out when it comes to this and you’ve got your hands full with Pax these days as it is Xhom

:hestonpls

I'm not even starting a fight or anything, I'm just stating that the situation is no different like Star Wars or TES. You have a few people who know what they are talking about, most don't and just really want what they want to win... win, damn anything else to the contrary.

And yes, I do have enough with Pax on my hands and I'm honestly sick of it :jordangif

Might as well bring back Star Wars vs Star Trek debates

That seems to garner a lot of traction

My attempt at a Star Wars vs Star Trek debate actually blew up a fair bit so there’s that

She tied with Saber Diarmund, looked at PHH Yagyu and went "i am NOT beating that", and outright says that she's unable to really do much against people like Inshun due to a sheer skill-gap between them. While the ability is ABSURDLY BROKEN, it's based on a finite number of "possibilities" - aka, say, if they fought one billion times, and Musashi would only win one time out of that billion, Heavenly Eye would bring that part to light instead of the others where she loses.

I don't see how it's "even if she literally cannot win, she will win anyways". Her eyes are consistently portrayed to flat out not work against people who are ENOURMOUSLY stronger than her. A possibility needs to exist in the first place, hence how her ability is "one' and not "zero".

...
I haven't seen someone fuck this up so badly in my life trying to make a case against Female Musashi in my days...

1. She didn't tie with Saber Diarmuid, they didn't even fight each other in that sense as this definitely comes from the Enma-Tei event where Diarmuid fought her SHADOW that refused to lose to anyone that wasn't a dual wielder like her(Which makes sense as that's how her Battle Continuation works in reality) and even then, while he won, he was so tired out he changed back into Lancer Diarmuid in the process.

2. That wasn't PHH Munenori Yagyu, that was another timeline version that dead ass followed after her to Shimousa to get that fight going in... which she won(And again, that was Musashi BEFORE Shimousa where she learned Zero/Emptiness). Servant Munenori Yagyu is later on stated to be STRONGER than that version by Musashi herself through a quick glance at him(As he ultimately learned his own essence like Musashi and Kojirou did as confirmed by his Materials)

3. That was Musashi before she learned Zero/Emptiness, we don't know how strong Ishun would be against her after that.

4. That is not how her Empyrean Eye works in combat... to basically pull it from TvTropes as they got how Nasu described how her Empyrean Eye works in combat:

Magical Eye: Musashi possesses a Mystic Eye called the "Empyrean Eye", which narrows all possible futures to the one she desires. So if she's swinging her swords and thinks, "I want to cut that guy's left arm off", all subsequent events will line up nicely so that she will be able to cut that guy's left arm off. Of course, she still has to try to cut the guy's arm off, but this effectively makes her a Reality Warper.

Of course, they can still defend against it, it's just REALLY fucking difficult(It's not like Ophelia's Mystic Eye which pins an Event in place and just fucks you over completely unless you literally do some Divine Spirit-Tier bullshit).

The problem though is that this is against Shiki Tohno... the man is not God and Vlov and Roa are not at the level where Shiki can go hard against Servants in that fashion(He didn't even defeat Roa in that sense)

@Regular-Nothing Eric i remember you mentioning about Nagilum once, I’m gonna watch through a few more episodes about these cosmic level beings in Star Trek to see if they match the hype

I know vs battles puts them all at Hyperversal or whatever nonsense they made up but that just sounds dumb lol. At the very least Q has proven he’s extremely impressive

I think that even without the dimension-tiering bs that VSBW uses, the Star Trek universe itself is still pretty cracked in terms of scaling with an extremely vast cosmology (an infinite multiverse is only the tip of the iceberg for the series).
