It all comes back to TF, as alwaysit all started with unicron sleeping inside a multiversal big bang, then it got passed to jiren shooking the top void, then raizens universal stomach sounds, then kaguya and her solar system tier dimension, and now, the true zenkai
multiversal yeehaw sleeping which shakes 3 dimensions/realities
and from all of those examples, unicron's is the only canon one

The movies were surprisingly good. Jeff Fowler (who’s worked on the games before) directs them so he knows the series enough to do a different, yet fun adaptationFucking watching a reaction where the guys claimed the Sonic movies had "NO HEART".
Yeah just ignore the fact the literal best thing about both of the movies I've seen so far, HAS been how much heart they have and how genuinely wholesome they are. The relationships between the characters are what makes these movies.
Then there's just stupid "we didn't pay attention stuff and just writing it off as stupid" like bitching about why the sea is so stormy when Sonic is running across it when it was calm before? Oh I don't know, it JUST MIGHT have something to do with the GIANT FUCKING GREEN ENERGY BEAM that shot out of the sea and into the clouds which Sonic was running towards.
Too bad the writers respected the intelligence of the people watching enough to not feel the need to explicitly point that out.
There's also the claim that Sonic learns the exact same lesson in both films which is hilariously wrong.
Not to mention the one guy who actually knew (some) Sonic lore would just refer to Shadow as "the edgy one with guns" and kept bringing up shit like "Werewolf Sonic" and stuff to highlight the stupidity of it. Like dudes it's obvious you don't like the Sonic story to begin with so why on Earth (aside from views) they even bothered to watch both movies (especially when they didn't like the first one either) baffles me.
From the perspective of someone who hasn't really played Sonic games outside of a little bit of Sonic 1 when I was a kid and whose only exposure to the lore is Youtube videos explaining it, I think they're brilliant in all honesty. Sonic 2 especially though Sonic 1 was also good.
Going to go see it at some point in the next few weeks when the cinema wont be quite as packed, seeing as it just came out here a couple days ago.
